    Cherished daughter of the late Archibald and late Marion Thompson. Devoted wife of the late Ronald C Helwig. Loving sister of the late Daniel (Sylvia) Thompson and late Thomas Thompson. Survived by Larry (Marianne) Helwig, the late Kevin (Joyce) Helwig, Amy (John) Daigler, Jody (Ross) Rains, Jill (Stephen) Cuccia, and Gail (Brian) Quinn. Beloved grandmother of Michelle (Matt ) Georger, Jason (Martha Harlukiewicz) Helwig, Jessica (Nick) Iwanicki, Adam (Oy McPeters) Daigler, Ashley (Cort) Fondon, Abbey Rains, Marie Cuccia, Kacey and Katey Quinn. Also survived by five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
    A Celebration of Life will take place at 3 PM on July 16, 2017 at North Presbyterian Church, 168 Payne Ave., North Tonawanda. Family and friends welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.

Kevin had worked at General Motors, Town of Tonawanda for over 30 years as a Journeyman tool & dye maker. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and boater. Beloved husband of Joyce (nee Dalton) Helwig. Special papa of Ethan Davis. Father of Robert (Angela Arakelian) Bellin and Kimberly (Steven Hark) Davis. Papa of Anthony, Brooke and Mia. Dear son of Barbara Helwig and the late Ronald Helwig. Brother of Larry (Marianne) Helwig, Amy (John) Daigler, Jody (Ross) Raines, Jill (Stephen) Cuccia, and Gail (Brian) Quinn. Son-in-law of Mary (late Eugene) Dalton. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Friday from 5 – 8 P.M. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home beginning at 8 P.M.
