RANSOMVILLE - Services
were held at 2 30 this afternoon at
the Gentle Funeral H o m e for
Charles Dechow, 82, retired farmer,
who died Saturday at the home
of his daughter. Mrs Arthur Albright
of Albright Rd , Town of
Lewis ton.
The Rev. Ernest Seigel officiated.
Burial was in St. Peter's Lutheran
Cemetery, North Ridge.
Mr. Dechow was born Feb. S.
1874, in the Town of Lewiston.
and was a farmer until 1915 when
he married the former Emma
Bluhm and moved to Ransomville.
His wife died in 1944 Mr. Dechow
was a former member of St.
Peter's Lutheran Church. North
Ridge.
Besides Mrs. Albright, he leaves
two other daughters, Mrs. Melville
Clark and Mrs. Peter Jagodzinskl.
and a son, Clarence Dechow,
all of Niagara Falls, and nine
grandchildren.

Charles married BLUHM, Emma in 1915 in New York. Emma (daughter of BLUHM, Karl August and BENZ, Fredericka) was born in Feb 1890 in New York; died on 2 Feb 1944 in Buffalo, Erie County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
