DeGraff Memorial
Hospital. A native of
Tonawanda, he was the
husband of the late
Florence (nee Boyer)
Strehlow and brother of
the late Alma W. Tiedman
and the late Ruth E.
W a t e r s t r a t . Mr.
Strehlow was a member
of Immanuel Lutheran
Church and had been
employed at Buffalo
Steel Co., in Tonawanda
more than 40 years,
retiring in 1970.
He is survived by two
daughters, Mrs. Jay M.
(Marilyn) Miller of
Rockville, Conn., and
Mrs. Daniel J. (Carol)
Geromel of North
Tonawanda; a brother,
Alfred R. (Victoria)
Strehlow of Tonawanda;
six grandchildren and
several nieces and
nephews.
Funeral services were
conducted at 11 o'clock
this morning at John O.
Roth Funeral Home,
Morgan and William
Sts., Tonawanda by the
Rev. Robert L. Rickus.
Burial at Elmlawn
Cemetery. If desired,
memorials may be made
to Immanuel Lutheran
Church.

OBITUARY

Carol A. Geromel of North Tonawanda, NY, passed away on September 27, 2021.
Carol was the  wife of the late Daniel J. Geromel, mother of  Laurie (Alan) Robell, and Jeffrey Geromel, grandmother of Kevin and Melissa Robell,  Andrew and Becky Geromel, sister of the late Marilyn (Jay) Miller, also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Private services were held at the wishes of her  family.
Memorials may be made in her name to Niagara Hospice,4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport  N.Y. 14094.

19, of 235. Fletcher St.,
will be conducted St 2 p.m.
Tuesday at the John O. Roth
Funeral Home, the Rev. Theodore
Schroeder officiating.
Burial will be in Rest Haven
Cemetery.
Miss Strehlow died Saturday
(July 9, 1960) in Children's
Hospital, Buffalo, after
a lengthy illness.
She was a graduate of Tonawanda
High School in 1958
and was a member of the honor
society of the school.
She attended Buffalo State
Teachers College and was a
member of Delta Sigma Upsilon
sorority. She was a member
of Imraanuel Lutheran
Church, a senior choir member
of the church and a Sunday
School teacher.
Surviving are her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Strehlow;
and a brother, Clifford
A, Strehlow, Brooks Air Force
Base, Texas. Also surviving is
her grandfather, August R.
Strehlow, this city.
Miss Strehlow was engaged
to Donald P. Proefrock of
North. Tonawanda. They were
to have been married in late
August.
