    GASPORT May 17 - Mrs. Emelia
    Kroning died Wednesday afternoon
    at her home here. She leaves three
    daughters and one son, Mrs. Harvey
    Harpst of Gasport, Mrs. Charles
    Draper of Buffalo, Elise and Carl
    Kroening at home; four grandchildren,
    Margaret V., Marjorie E., George
    E. and Carl P. Draper of Buffalo;
    four sisters, Mrs. August Wruck, of
    Gasport, Mrs. Ernest Keihl, Mrs.
    Henry Stalk, Miss Mary Newman of
    Middleport, and one brother, William
    Newman of Middleport. Funeral services
    will be held Saturday afternoon
    at the home at 3 o'clock, daylight saving
    time. The Rev. Fred Schleef will
    officiate.

    Obituary of David C Kroening
    (Middleport)  David C. Kroening age 84 died June 17, 2021 at his home surrounded by his sister and nephew.  He was born April 2, 1937 in Royalton, a son of the late Carl and Frances (Leibring) Kroening and had lived in this area all of his life.David worked for many years at Harrison Radiator.  He was a finished carpenter and enjoyed golfing and landscaping.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his nephew Mark Westcott; brother-in-law Thomas Wetcott.  He is survived by his brother Paul (Kathryn) Kroening; his sister Marlene Westcott; nephews Michael and Mitchell Westcott, Kyle (Patricia) and Kurt Kroening; his niece Karrie (Michael) Farmacola.There are no prior services.  Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr. Lockport NY 14094.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home.
