    NABLO - Theodosia L. Nablo, 87, of North Tonawanda, Friday morning (April 27, 1979) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a long illness. A native of North Tonawanda, she had been employed at Van Raalte Silk Mill in North Tonawanda for 50 years, retiring in 1957. Miss Nablo was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid and was the sister of Clara A. Wurl who died in January of this year. She is survived by a sister, Miss Elsie O. Nablo and a nephew, Glen J. Wurl, both of North Tonawanda; two nieces. Mrs. LeRoy (Lucille) Collins of St.
    Petersburg, Fla., and Mrs. Kenneth (Virginia) Barkey of Rochester, N.Y. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday at John O. Roth
    Funeral Home, Morgan a n d William Sts., Tonawanda where services will be conducted at 1.30 p.m. Sunday by the Rev. Dr. John W.B. Franzmann. Burial at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. If desired , memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, North Tonawanda.

    WURL – Clara A. (nee Nablo) Wurl, 82, of North Tonawanda, Monday (January 29, 1979) at Fairchild Nursing Home in Lewiston after a brief illness. A native of North Tonawanda, she was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid of the church, American Association of Retired Persons and the Women’s Auxiliary to DeGraff Memorial Hospital.

    She is survived by her husband, Gerhard C. Wurl; a son, Glen J. Wurl, at home; two sisters, the Misses Theodosia L. and Elsie O. Nablo, both of North Tonawanda and several nieces and nephews.

    Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at John O. Roth Funeral Home, Morgan and William Sts., Tonawanda. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Lutheran Church (Old Falls Blvd) by the Rev. Dr. John W. B. Franzmann and the Rev. David B. Kaplan. Burial at White Chapel Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.

    Clara married WURL, Gerhardt Carl Diedrich on 21 Apr 1921 in Town of Wheatfield, Niagara County, NY. Gerhardt (son of WURL, Frederick Johannes and ZIEHL, Auguste Louise) was born on 25 Jun 1895 in Town of Wheatfield, Niagara County, NY; died on 13 Feb 1988 in New York. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
