WILSON-Mrs. Dorothy Zastrow,
64, of 3283 Beebe Road,
died Tuesday (Nov. 4, 1979) at
Newfane Inter-Community Hospital
after a short illness.
A native of Wilson, she was
born Jan. 10, 1905, daughter ot
William and Rose Braurer. She
was married in 1924 to Arthur
Zastrow, and was a member
of Concordia Lutheran Church
in Newfane.
Besides her husband, she- is
survived by a son, Levell, of
Newfane; three daughters,- Mrs.
Norman (Lorainne) Krucicke.
Mrs. Elwin (Dorothy) Klumpp
both of Newfane, and Mrs. Kenneth
(Betty Jane) Schultz of
Appleton; ' a brother, Charles
Braurer (sic) of Wilson; two sisters,
Mrs. George Zastrow and Mrs.
Elsie Bonn, both of Newfane:
16 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
Friends may call today and
Thursday at the Hamilton and
Clark Funeral Chapel from 2 to.
4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will
be held Friday at 2 p.m. with
the Rev. David Musall officiating.
Burial will be in Wrights Cor-
ners Cemetery.

Levell "Pop" W. Zastrow of Newfane, husband of AnnaBelle Hillman Zastrow entered into rest on Wednesday April 1, 2020 in Newfane Rehab. He was born in Wilson, NY on February 20, 1929, the son of the late Arthur and Dorothy Brauer Zastrow. Pop and AnnaBelle were married 70 years on February 26. He was he parts manager for Niagara Frontier for 49 years and was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church and an exempt member of Miller Hose Co. Father of Sandy Poole, Donna (Charles) Morrison and the late Diana Zastrow. Grandfather of Scott Poole, Tina (William) Keck, Jeffery (Kathy) Morrison and Justin and Jennifer Taylor. Great grandfather of Earline, Alisha, Harley, Sarah, Piphany, Paislee, Eimbery and Jonah. Brother of the late Loraine Kruzicke, Betty Schultz and Dorothy Peters. Brother  in law of Roger Peters. Dorothy M. Peters of Lockport, wife of Roger Peters entered into rest on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Eastern Niagara Hospital Newfane, NY. Dorothy was born on October 30, 1932 in Wilson, NY. Daughter of the late Arthur and Dorothy Brauer Zastrow.
Dorothy worked at Harrison Radiator for 33 years. She was a member of the Concordia Lutheran Church, UAW Travel Club and Christian Woman Association. She and Roger also enjoyed there Thursday luncheons at the Rapids Fire Hall.
Mother of Susan (Alvin) Frey of Lockport, NY, Larry (Cathy) Klumpp of Ransomville, NY, Donald (Barbara) Klumpp of Lockport, NY, Ricky (Shelley) Klumpp of Newfane, NY, Linda (Paul) Garneret of Newfane, NY, Dwayne (Lisa) Klumpp of Newfane, NY, Ronald (Denise) Klumpp of Lockport, NY and the late Leonard Klumpp. Sister of Levell (Annabelle) Zastrow of Newfane, NY and the late Loraine Kruzicke and Betty Schultz. Step-mother of Jason (Vicki) Peters of Akron, NY and Kyra (Rodney) Hogg of Sanborn, NY. Step-daughter-in-law of the late Bernice Peters. Also survived by 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

LOCKPORT — Joyce L. (Kruzicke) Hess, May 9, 2013, after a long illness, with her family at her side. Born July 30, 1953 in Newfane, she was a daughter of the late Norman R. and Loraine L. (Zastrow) Kruzicke.

She attended Wilson schools and met and married Clyde Hess May 12, 1973, after dating for five years. Joyce worked for George Bradley tying grapes, worked at Kramp Cold Storage as a bagger, worked at Oldham Saw as a torch repair inspector, and helped cleaned the Hub Hotel with her father, Norman Kruzicke. She was the caregiver of her dad for 10 years. She loved gardening, flowers, the outdoors, camping, bird watching, her dogs and cats, and spending time with her family. Family meant a lot to her.

Surviving is her husband of 40 years, Clyde R. Hess; son, Clyde (Ellen) Hess of Barker; three grandchildren, Michael of Wilson, Nathanael and Benjamin of Barker; a niece and nephew, Nicholas and Samantha Seefeldt of Wilson; three brothers, Roger (Peggy) Kruzicke of Dansville; Robert (Reeny) Kruzicke of Wilson; Rodney (Fran) Kruzicke of Wilson; and a sister, Lori (Brian) Seefeldt of Wilson. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be Monday, May 13th, 2-4 and 7-9 PM, Tuesday, May 14th, 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Hamilton and Clark Funeral Home, 270 Young Street, Wilson, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 15th, at 10:30 AM. Larry would always put a smile on your face and enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. Father of Janet (Chris) Ziehm and Thomas Slattery. Grandfather of Skye, Aylssa and Amber Ziehm and Madison and Colby Slattery. LOCKPORT - A one-car mishap
early Sunday resulted in
the death of a Wilson youth and
injuries to his two passengers.
Pronounced dead within minutes
after arrival at Lockport
Memorial Hospital was the driver,
Leonard E. Klumpp, 19, of
3279 Beebe Road, Town of Wilson.
Injured were Robert L.
Smith, 20, of 19 Highland Ave.,
here, owner of the car, who
was listed in critical condition
today in the intensive care unit
of Sisters Hospital, Buffalo, and
Daniel Fraser, 20, of 150 Washington
St. here, who was listed
in fair condition at Lockport
Memorial Hospital.
Police said the deceased had
suffered internal injuries. The
Smith youth suffered head injuries
and bruises and the Fraser
youth suffered a laceration
of the scalp, right arm and
multiple contusions and abrasions.
No Skid Marks
Sgl. Henry Newman of the
local police reported no skid
marks visible in the accident,
which occurred about 2:20 a.m.
in Walnut Street- near Cleveland
Place.
He said the car apparently
left the road at a curve in Walnut
Street, striking a tree in
front of 577 Walnut St.
Klumpp and Fraser were
wearing seat belts. Smith was
not.
Horn in.1949. the victim would
have celebrated- his 20th birthday
June 7. He was the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Klumpp,
who survive him.
A 1968 graduate of Wilson
Central School, he had been
scheduled to report for induction
into the U.S. Army on June
19. He had been employed by
the Harrison Radiator Division,
General Motors Corp. here.

Besides his parents, he is survived
by two sisters. Mrs. Susan
Frey and Miss ' Linda
Klumpp; five brothers. Larry,
Donald, Ricky, Dwayne and
Ronald, ajl at home; his paternal
grandmother. Mrs. Bessie

maternal grandparents. Mr. and
Mrs. Arthur Zastrow of Wilson.

Scott Poole graduated from Newfane High School, he then went on to coach at Welds High school in Co. Then at Caverns High school in Glasgow, KY. SCOTT POOLE loved life and the Buffalo Bill's, his smile will be missed.
