    JAEGER - Anton Jaeger, Sr., 91, of North Tonawanda, Sunday (April 4, 1982) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Born in Austria, Hungary (sic), Mr. Jaeger had been a resident of North Tonawanda the past 75 years. He was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ. Retired in 1958 from the Wurlitzer Co., after 48 years of service. Mr. Jaeger is survived by his wife, Anna (nee Denk) Jaeger; three sons, Anton (Anne), Carl (Marion) and Emil (Rita) Jaeger all of the Tonawandas; four daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Katherine) Baumgartner, Mrs. Thomas (Alice) Batt, and Mrs. Laverne (Mildred) Otterstein, all of North Tonawanda, and Mrs. Alvin (Leona) Schimschack of Niagara Falls, father of the late George J. Jaeger, he is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Henry (Elizabeth) Eichorn of Niagara Falls, Ont., and Mrs. Katherine Rumi of New Jersey; 20 grandchilden, 21 great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Friends may call Monday 7 to 9 and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the Wattengel Funeral Home, Inc., 307 Oliver St., North Tonawanda where services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., the Rev. Dr. Paul R. Ritter officiating. Burial Friedens Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to Friedens United Church of Christ or DeGraff Memorial Hospital.

    A memorial service for Leona T. Schimschack will be held at 3:30 P.M. next Sunday in Friedens United Church of Christ, 170 Schenck St., North Tonawanda.
    Mrs. Schimschack, 75, of Schultz Street, died Thursday (Nov. 23, 1995) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital. The former Leona T. Jaeger was born in North Tonawanda and lived in Wheatfield since 1950.
    She worked for Radatron in Wheatfield for 20 years until retiring in 1982.
    Mrs. Schimschack was a lifelong member of Friedens United Church of Christ, where she was a member of the choir and the church's Martha Circle. She also taught Sunday school for many years.
    She was a member of the Inter-Amigos Club in North Tonawanda.
    Survivors include her husband, Alvin A.; a son, William of Bergholz; two sisters, Kathrine Baumgartner and Mildred Otterstein, both of North Tonawanda; three brothers, Anton Jaeger Jr. and Emil Jaeger, both of Tonawanda, and Carl Jaeger of Springville; two grandsons; and a great-grandson

Born March 2, 1948 in North Tonawanda, he was the son of the late Anton and Anne (nee Remi) Jaeger and was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. James was a professional land surveyor for Sonnenberger Land Surveying in Buffalo before becoming ill. He was a member of the American Legion Tonawandas Post No. 264, the Vietnam Veterans of America, and the New York State Professional Land Surveyors Association.
    He was the husband of Irene (nee Kania) Jaeger; father of Patricia (Edward) Jaeger-Smith of Amherst and Andrew (Erin) Jaeger of Buffalo; grandfather of Kayleigh and James Smith and Luke and Cole Jaeger; brother of Richard (Deborah) Jaeger of North Tonawanda, and the late Robert Jaeger; and brother-in-law of Donna Jaeger of Tonawanda. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
    The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Tuesday only at the HAMP FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 37 Adam Street at Seymour, Tonawanda, where a Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday. Friends invited. If desired, memorials to the Vietnam Veterans of America, 47 Main Street, Tonawanda, NY 14150, are preferred by the family.
