Mrs. .Martha E. Beahen, 56, of
450 Third St., died in her home
last night after having been invalided
for the last eight years as a result
of a stroke.
A lifelong resident of Niagara
Falls, she is survived by her husband,
Montic M. Beahen Sr., and
six children. They are Montie M.
Beahen Jr.. Philip G. Beahen, both
of this city: Thomas W. Beahen,
electrician third class, USN; Mrs.
John Hotchkiss, Mrs. Robert Norman
and Miss Irene R. Beahen, all
of this city. She also is survived
by two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude White
and Mrs. Grace Jaus, this city; a
brother, George Zeiger, Lockport,
and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at
1:30 p.m. Friday. Elder Clifford A.
Spilsbury officiating, at the Bell
Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in
Memorial Park Cemetery

Obituary of Mary L. Norman
Mary L. Norman 95 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022 at Schoellkopf Health Center. Born in Niagara Falls on March 27, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Monte McArthur and Martha Elsie (Zieger) Beahen. Mary worked the "victory shift" from 4-9PM at Shredded Wheat while attending Trott. In 1945 she started working at Carborundum, before getting married in 1946 in Erie PA, and then worked as an office worker for Hooker/Oxy. After her son Gary was born, she worked at Fannie Farmer and had a night job at Neisners. When her mother got sick, she moved back home to take care of her, and ran a boarding house that at one time had 27 boarders. After the boarding house she went to work at National Carbon, until she had her daughter Deb. She started working again at Carborundum, before she had her son Ricky. After all the kids were older Mary kept busy with multiple jobs including a teletype operator, teacher, teacher's aide, cashier, and finally a bartender at the VFW until she retired. She is survived her daughters, Deborah (Edward) Battaglia, Tina (Robert) Reynolds and Luann Miller; sons, Douglas Norman, and John Donavon; as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sons, Gary (Peggy) Norman, and Ricky Norman; brothers, Montie (Jean) Beahen, Philip George (Collette) Beahen, and Thomas (Peggy) Beahen; and sisters, Irene (Anthoni) Gabrielli, and Betty (John) Hotchkiss.Friends may call on Tuesday, May 24 from 4-7PM at Zajac Funeral Home Inc., 319 24th Street cor. of Welch Ave, Niagara Falls, NY where funeral services will begin at 6:30PM. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.

NIAGARA FALLS — Thomas W. Beahen, 80, passed away suddenly on March 31, 2013. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Monte and Martha Beahen. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Peggy Ann Beahen (nee Holt) in 2006. He was predeceased by siblings, Philip Beahen, Monte "Bud" Beahen, Rene Gabrielle and Betty Hotchkiss.

Tom is survived by his children, Thomas W. Beahen, Jr. (Barbara), Timothy J. Beahen (Sharon) and Martha "Marty" Beahen-Templeton; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister, Mary Norman and many nieces and nephews.

Tom was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls and attended local schools. Tom served in the US Navy from 1951 to 1955, serving as an electrician aboard the USS San Pablo and the USS Briareus, until his honorable discharge. Tom received the National Defense Service Medal for his service. Following his discharge he worked for N.Y. Telephone Company-Verizon until his retirement, starting as a lineman and working his way up to supervisory positions.

Tom enjoyed tending the old family farm in Virginia. He was a member of Niagara LaSalle Lodge 132 F & A. M. in Niagara Falls, NY. He loved reading, playing chess and was an avid sportsman. Tom loved fishing, boating, canoeing, riding his 4-wheeler, woodworking and keeping up the house. One of his favorite pastimes was taking photos of the beautiful scenery along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia.

No services will be held. He will be interred at the Teel Family Cemetery in Bent Mountain, VA, at the family's convenience.

Steven K. Beahen, Sr, 61, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017 in Select Speciality Hospital in Erie, PA, following a brief illness.  Born on October 25, 1955 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Philip and Marian (Smith) “Smitty” Beahen.  On September 11, 1976, Steven married the former Lynn Hiddie in Lewiston, NY.
Steven was a lifelong area resident, attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1973.  He then went on to earn his Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from Niagara County Community College as well as a certificate in building, estimating and constructing from Erie Community College, North Campus.  Steven began his lifelong construction career working with his father at Smith Brothers Construction.  He then was employed by Laur and Mack Construction and Tri-C Construction.  Most recently, Steven was currently employed as a General Superintendent  for Pinto Construction Services.  He served as Past-President of the Laborers’ Local #91.  Steven’s job was his passion and he was highly respected by his co-workers.
Steven was a member of Community of Christ Church on Lewiston Road and the 3F Club.  He was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer.  Steven enjoyed cooking and was an excellent grill chef, horse racing, skeet shooting and spending time at his cabin in the southern tier, Leisurewood campgrounds, Saratoga Race Course and Sarasota, Fl.  Above all, family was everything to Steven and his grandchildren will forever miss their “Papa.”
In addition to his beloved wife of over forty years, Steven is survived by three children, Brandi (Dean) Krassopoulos, Steven (Christine) Beahen, Jr. and Katie (Jacob) Rizzone; five grandchildren, Kaliope and Matthew Krassopoulos, Ellie and Benjamin Rizzone and Natalie Beahen and seven siblings, Philip J. Beahen, Diane Haick, Sherry (Vince) Girardo, Scott Beahen, David (Robin) Beahen, Penny (John) Hepfer and Krisanne (Michael) Ventry.  He is also survived by his father and mother-in-law, Richard and Shirley Hiddie; brother-in-law, Douglas (Carol) Hiddie; sister-in-law, Jackie (Steven) Yousett and several aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  In addition to his parents, Steven was preceded in death by one sister, Tracey Ann Beahen and one brother, Kenny Beahen.
Steven’s family will be present to receive friends on Tuesday from 1-8 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, in the Town of Niagara.  Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Wednesday, April 12th at 11:00 a.m. which will be celebrated in Community of Christ Church, 5235 Lewiston Road, Lewiston, NY, with Rev. Richard James officiating.  EVERYONE ASSEMBLE AT THE CHURCH.  Prayers of committal and interment will follow in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.

Niagara County sheriff's deputies
said the parents discovered
the child missing when
they were preparing to eat. A
search was started and the
child's body was recovered
about a half-hour later by Donald
Eyerly, 7521 Wing Ct, Nia-
gara Falls, who immediately ad
ministered mouth - to mouth
breathing Deputy Barrell Highfield

Timothy Beahen, lifetime resident of Niagara Falls, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 22, 2018. He was 60.  He was born in Niagara Falls on December 17, 1957, a son of the late Thomas and Peggy (Holt) Beahen.  He attended local schools and then worked for Gross Plumbing and Heating for many years until an early retirement.
Tim was a member of the Masonic Lodge (Niagara LaSalle Lodge 132 F&AM), he loved his 2 cats and enjoyed antique cars and trucks.
He is survived by his loving wife Sharon (Keith) Beahen, his daughter Jeannie (Chris Gabrielli) Beahen, and two grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Owen Gabrielli. He is also survived by two siblings: Thomas W. (Barbara) Beahen, Jr. and Martha Beahen.
Tim’s family will be present at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue on Thursday at 4 PM where a memorial service will be held at 5 PM.

Martha T. (Beahen) Templeton of Niagara Falls passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at her home.  She was 61.  Born and raised in Niagara Falls, the daughter of the Thomas and Peggy (Holt) Beahen.
Martha worked for Vishay Thin Films.
She is survived by a son, Jeremy Templeton; a daughter, Leah (Jason Jeffords) Templeton; grandchildren, Austin, Kayla, Kaeden and Jacob; her brother, Thomas (Barbara Frantz) Beahen and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Timothy.
