    DUEGER - Arthur C. Dueger,
    1613 Niagara Ave., Niagara Falls,
    died yesterday morning after a
    heart attack. Proprietor of two
    Niagara Falls restaurants, Mr.
    Dueger, a former North Tonawan-
    dan, was a member of Niagara
    River Lodge 785, F. and A.M.,
    Lodge of Perfection, Buffalo Con-
    sistory and BPOE Lodge 346, Ni-
    agara Falls. Surviving are his
    wife, Frances, Niagara Falls, his
    father, William Dueger, a sister,
    Mrs. Mable Newell, a brother, Wil-
    liam D. Dueger, all of North Ton-
    awanda and a brother, Walter,
    Niagara Falls. Funeral services
    will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the
    home, 1613 Niagara Ave. The Rev.
    Carl Berges will officiate. Inter-
    ment in Riverdale Cemetery.

    Obituary of Dennis Dueger

        Dennis G. Dueger of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 surrounded by his loving family, at Niagara Hospice House. Born in North Tonawanda, NY on January 14, 1950 he was the son of the late William and Helen (Zemla) Dueger.
     
        Dennis was the owner and operator of Dueger's Tenowon Grill on Niagara Street in Niagara Falls, NY for the past 50 years. He loved meeting and greeting everyone who stopped in and treated everyone like they were family. Dennis also loved to go on cruises, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren, Annalyse, Amelia and Maksim.
     
        He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Elizabeth (Adams) Dueger; children, Denise (Anthony) Ioviero, Amy (Michael) Kilmer and Dennis Dueger; brothers, Ronald (Lydia) Dueger and Bill (Pat) Dueger. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Gerald Dueger, and sister, Elaine (Alfred) Drabczyk.
     
        The Dueger family would like to thank the staff at Niagara Hospice House, along with the staff at Roswell Park Cancer Institute for the wonderful care Dennis received during his courageous battle with cancer.
     
        Friends may call Sunday, November 25th from 2-6 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC., 319 24th Street, cor of Welch Ave, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin at 6:00 PM with Rev. Ronald Maines officiating.  Burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY, will take place at the convenience of the family.

    Betty J. (Newell) Miller, 91, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Absolut Care of Orchard Park. Betty was born in North Tonawanda, NY the daughter of the late John R. and Mabel (Dueger) Newell.

    Betty graduated from North Tonawanda High School in 1942. In January of 1943, she married Donald R. Miller. Mr. Miller predeceased her on May 28, 2014. Following her graduation Betty worked at Wurlitzer Park in North Tonawanda, and later on as a clerk at Twin Fair Department Store in Niagara Falls. Betty was a skilled quilter and made numerous quilts for all her family members. She also enjoyed cross stitching, reading, playing cards and taking long walls both outdoors and at the mall. In her younger years, Betty also participated in local bowling leagues. But her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family who she loved cooking for, especially during the holidays.

    Betty’s family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of Unit 1 at Absolut Care of Orchard Park for their compassionate care given to her during her time there.

    Betty is survived by three children, Linda (Evan) Williams, Jr. of Troy, PA, John (Kathleen) Miller of Niagara Falls, NY and Terry (Gavin) Atkinson of The Woodlands, TX; six grandchildren, Wendy (Jay) Sbrollini, Honorable Evan (Tricia) Williams, III, John (Amy) Miller, II, Megan Atkinson-Weis, Erin (Timothy) Gelhar and Gavin (fiancee Megan) Atkinson, II; thirteen great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Betty was also predeceased by three brothers, Frank Newell, Donald Garrison, Jack Newell and one sister Dorothy MacLeod.

    Visitation will be on held Wednesday from 10 - 11 a.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY RD. NIAGARA FALLS, NY followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Robert Hughson officiating. Interment in Mt. View Cemetery, Cambria, NY. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Association of WNY, 2805 Wehrle Dr. Suite 6, Williamsville, NY 14221.
