She is survived by four sons, Lyle A. (Helen) Rees, Smethport, Pa., Wayne C. (Mary) Rees, Vernon G. (Ruth) Rees and Dana L. Rees, all of North Tonawanda; three daughters. Miss Wava M. Rees, Mrs. Melvin J. (Donna) Reitsch and Mrs. Rudolph D. (Delia) Kirschner, all of North Tonawanda. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family will be present from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Sweitzer Funeral Home in Port Allegany, Pa., where services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Port Allegany, Pa. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorial donations may be made to the
    Diabetic Association.

    WOLCOTTSVILLE, NY — Dianna Tobin, age 73, of Wolcottsville, NY, entered into rest on Friday, January 6, 2012 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Salamanca, NY, on September 19, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Erma (Housler) Blakeslee.

    For many years, Mrs. Tobin was employed as a Home Health Care Aide was doing care for private patients and a few nursing facilities. Diane was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wolcottsville, NY. While her children at one time were involved in Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Brownies, she served as a Den Mother and helped with many paper drives, selling pizzas, cookies and numerous other contributions she made to help make the organizations thrive. Diane's favorite things in life were sharing time with her husband, children and grandchildren. Precious memories she leaves with all of them.

    Diane is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, William D. Tobin; loving and proud mother of Dennis (Amelia) Tobin, William II (Laurie) Tobin, Cynthia (Bryan) Shafer, Karen (Rick) Carey and Flavel (Luann) Tobin; cherished grandmother of thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; dear sister of Meda (late Ralph) Seekings, Chloie (late Albert) Eddy, Otis (Mary Lou) Blakeslee, Vermont (Sally) Blakeslee, Leila (late Harold) Armstrong and Nina (Tom) Farris; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

    Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 PM in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Wolcottsville. Rev. Rodney Klincing will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the CHILDS FUNERAL HOME, 10 Eckerson Ave., Akron. Flowers gratefully declined.     Flavel Shawn Tobin 
    passed away peacefully on September 10, 2021. He was born on September 24, 1968 to the late William and Diana (Blakeslee) Tobin.
    Flavel was a 1986 graduate of Akron High School.  He and Luann Jago were married on March 19, 1994 and they had four children together. Flavel worked for KT Construction in Tonawanda for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. He especially loved doing crossword puzzles and watching wrestling with his son.
    Loving husband of Luann Tobin, cherished father of Flavel S. Tobin II, Michelle (Nick) Szalay, Hannah Tobin and Renee Tobin; proud grandfather of Amara Szalay and Heaven Tobin-Srock; dear brother of Denise (Amielia) Tobin, Bill (Laurie) Tobin, Cindy (Bryan) Shafer, and Karen (Rick) Carey.
