    A. Meyer, 75, widow of Carl
    Meyer. formerly of 420 Pine St.,
    died yesterday (Dec, 7, 1955) in a
    Buffal ohospital after a long illness.
    Born Oct. 14. 1880. in Wolcottsburg,
    Mrs. Meyer was the daughter
    of Christian and Louise Ribbeck
    Zerbst. She came to Lock port at
    the age of 18, after her marriage.
    Her husband died in 1911.
    A sister, Miss Rose Radant,
    Lockport and two brothers, Albert
    Radant, of Johnson Creek, and
    William Zerbst, of East Amherst,
    survive,
    Services will be held Friday at
    2p.m., at the Prudden and Kandt
    Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St.
    Buial will be in Trinity Lutheran
    Cemetery.

    LOCKPORT, Jan. 3-The funeral
    of Miss Rose W. Radant, 80, of
    33 Harvey Ave., a dressmaker, who
    died Saturday night (Dec. 31, 1955)
    in Lockport Memorial Hospital,
    was held this afternoon at 2 o'clock
    at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home.
    The Rev. Ernest E. Heuer, pastor
    of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiated.
    Burial was in Trinity Lutheran
    Cemetery.
    Miss Radant, who formerly lived
    at 420 Pine St., did dressmaking for
    many Lockport families. She also
    had taught Sunday School at Trin-
    ity Lutheran Church, of which she
    was a member.
    Miss Radant was born in the
    Town of clarence Feb. 6, 1875,
    daughter of August W. and Louise
    Ribbeck Radant. She came to Lock-
    port 46 years ago.
    A sister, Mrs. Emilie Meyer, died
    on Dec. 7. Surviving are two broth-
    ers, Albert Radant, Johnson Creek,
    and William Cerbst, East Amherst;
    a niece and several nephews.

    MIDDLEPORT - Albert W.
    Radant, 79, of Ridge Rd., Johnson
    Creek, died Wednesday (Sept. 19,
    1956) at the Hilltop Nursing Home,
    Gasport, where he had been a
    patient for the last two months.
    He was a retired farmer.
    Born Jan. 13, 1877 at Clarence
    Center, Mr. Radant was the son of
    Fred and Louise Ribbeck Ra-
    dant. He had resided at Johnson
    Creek for the last 53 years.
    Surviving are his wife, Minnie
    Fischer Radant; two sons, Earl a.
    Radant, Kalamazoo, Mich., and
    Walter a. Radant, Johnson Creek;
    a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Sahler,
    Coperstown; a stepbrother, Wil-
    liam Zerbst, Eats Amherst; three
    grandchildren and three great-
    grandchildren.
    Friends may call from 2-4 and
    7-9 p.m. today and Friday at the
    Wallace and Heath Funeral Home,
    where services will be conducted at
    2 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. Har-
    old Ball, minister of Johnson
    Creek Baptist Church. Burial will
    be in Hartland Central Cemetery.

    Albert married FISHER, Minnie about 17 Jan 1899. Minnie (daughter of FISHER, Charles and LASAL, Margaret) was born on 1 May 1879 in Town of Hartland, Niagara County, NY; died on 4 Mar 1961 in Buffalo, Erie County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
