    NIAGARA FALLS — Irene (Krupa) Timko, 80, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence, Lewiston, NY. Born on March 2, 1932 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Katherine (Ziblut) Krupa and attended local schools. On May 23, 1953, she married Michael Timko, who predeceased her in 2002. Irene was employed by DiCamillo's Bakery as a sales clerk, she enjoyed baking and spending time with her grandchildren.

    She is survived by her children, Michael P. Timko of Niagara Falls, NY, Katherine Timko of Niagara Falls, NY, Susan (Al) Michaelewicz of Lockport, NY and Barbara Timko of Niagara Falls, NY; her grandsons, Jack (Ashley) Stonebreaker, Jr., Timothy (Suzy) Stonebreaker; her great-grandson, Maxum; her brothers, Walter (Barbara) Krupa, Chester (Iris) Krupa, Henry (Carm) Krupa; a sister, Frances (Matthew) Ficner; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sisters, Adele Robillard and Jenny Socha.

    There is NO PRIOR visitation. Burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery Lewiston, NY, will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME, INC.

    Frances V. (Krupa) Ficner, 97 years old, passed away on March 2, 2023
     at Avon Oaks Nursing Home in Avon Lake, OH.  She was born in Niagara Falls on April 2, 1925, the daughter of the late Frank and Katherine (Zibluit) Krupa.

    Frances attended Holy Trinity Parochial School and graduated from Niagara Falls High School.  On December 4, 1943, she was married to the late Matthew G. Ficner who passed away on March 31, 2005.  She was employed by the Carborundum Co. for 32 years as a Quality Control Inspector.

    Frances enjoyed reading, working on crossword puzzles, and listening to old-time western music. 

    Frances is survived by her children, William "Bill" (Jewel) Ficner and Pauline "Penny" (David) Wilson; her granddaughters, Kelly (Greg) Heath and Bethany (Tony) Wilson-Araujo; her great-grandchildren, Bennett and Wyatt Heath and Rosa Araujo-Wilson; her brother, Chester Krupa and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her brothers, Walter and Henry Krupa, and her sisters, Adele Robillard, Jenny Socha, and Irene Timko.  

    Friends may call on Wednesday from 2 pm until 5 pm at the LABUDA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 356 Portage Road.  All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial for Frances on Thursday at 9:30 am at Divine Mercy Parish, corner of Niagara and 24th Streets. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery.  Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in memory of Frances are asked to consider Historic Holy Trinity Church, 1419 Falls Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14303.

Born in Niagara Falls, NY on August 29, 1956, he was the son of the late Michael and Irene (Krupa) Timko. Michael attended local schools, graduating from Trott Vocational in 1974. He worked for Union Carbide and recently at K-Mart in the garden department. He enjoyed making model airplanes and was a Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees fan. He is survived by his sisters, Sue (Al) Michaelewicz, Katherine and Barbara Timko; two nephews and one great-nephew. Also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins. NO PRIOR VISITATION.     Obituary of Katherine A. Timko

    Katherine Ann "Aunty" Timko, 64, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019 after a long illness at home. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on August 3, 1954 she was the daughter of the late Michael and Irene (Krupa) Timko.
    Katherine attended St. Stanislaus Kostka School and graduated from Madonna High School in 1972. She worked for many years as a nursing assistant at Niagara Geriatrics. Katherine lived at home with her parents, where she took care of them until their passing.
    She was like a mother to her two nephews, Jack and Tim and was known as "Aunty" to everyone. Katherine's greatest joy was spending time with her great nephew, Maxum. She took care of him when he was a toddler well his parents were at work. She loved taking him to Beaver Island and Fantasy Island. Maxum called her "Tee" and the two of them were inseparable.
    She is survived by her sisters, Barbara J. Timko and Susan (Alphonse) Michalewicz; nephews, Jack Stonebraker Jr. and Timothy Stonebraker and of course her great-nephew, Maxum Stonebraker, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother, Michael P. Timko.
    Friends may call Thursday, May 9th from 6-8 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC., 319 24th Street, cor of Welch Ave, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin at 8:00 PM with Rev. Jacek Mazur officiating. Burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY, will take place at the convenience of the family. In Lieu of flowers, donations in Katherine's memory may be made to the Niagara County SPCA, 2100 Lockport Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
