William Silm, 75, formerly of the
Lockport road and recently living
in Wilson, died yesterday at a Buf-
falo hospital.
He is survived by one daughter,
Mrs. Glenn Myers, Wilson; one
brother, Fred, Niagara Falls; three
grandchildren and seven great
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held
Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Hardi-
son Funeral home; Ransomville.
The Rev. Carl Oldach, of St. Peter's

officiate. Interment will be at

RANSOMVILLE. Aug. 1. - Mrs
Minnie Caroline Andrees, 63, of this
cillage, died yesterday at the Buf-
falo General hospital. Although
Mrs. Andrees had been ill several
weeks death came unexpectedly.
She is survived by her husband,
William Andrees; four daughters,
Mrs. Robert Paxson and Mrs. How-
ard Curtiss, both of Niagara Falls,
and Mrs. Leonard Maacks and Mrs.
Herbert Maacks, both of Ransom-
ville; one brother, Fred Zilm, Nia-
gara Falls, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wed-
nesday at 2 p.m. from the family
home, Curtiss avenue, and at 2:30
o'clock at St. Peter's Lutheran
church, North Ridge. The Rev. Carl
W. Oldach will officiate. Inter-
ment will be at North Ridge.
Mrs. Andrees was a member of St.
Peter's church and the Ladies' Aux-
iliary, Ransomville Fire company.

fire In Ransomville yesterday afternoon,
which took one life and caused
property damage estimated at $50,000.

Dies of Burns
Howard Andrees, 17 years old. Ransomville,
terribly burned in the explosion
and'fire, died at 8:40 last night
in Memorial hospital. Andrees was
employed in the garage, gasoline service
station and auto salesrooms of Leo
Connor. Main street and the South
Lake road; Ransomville, where the fire
started.
Drum of Alcohol Exploded
An explosion of a drum of alcohol
stored in the' garage section of * the
three-story brick building started the
fire, authorities say. Andrees was

age 99, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on February 29, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Donald G. Albright. Loving mother of Gerald Albright and the late Deborah S. (Ralph) Thurnherr. Grandmother of Bryan (Kathy) Thurnherr, Jill (Andrew) Church, and four great-grandchildren; Nicole Thurnherr, Daniel Thurnherr, Connor Church and Evan Church. Sister of the late Stewart Zilm and the late Audrey Boyce. Jessie and Donald were married for 58 years. They moved from Niagara Falls, New York to Cape Coral, Florida in 1979 where they enjoyed retirement for over 35 years together. The happy couple enjoyed traveling, including trips to Hawaii and Alaska. She also traveled to Germany, Italy and Switzerland. In 2010, Jessie moved back to Niagara Falls, NY where she has lived independently at the Elderwood Residence at Wheatfield. Jessie was a member of Riverside Presbyterian Church where she spent many years as a volunteer. She enjoyed reading, spending time with family, swimming and playing cards, especially bridge, with friends. A memorial service will be held on Sunday March 10th at 1:00pm at Riverside Presbyterian Church, located at 815 84th St, Niagara Falls, NY 14304. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Riverside Presbyterian Church or Niagara Hospice.

Mrs. Boyce graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She was the head cashier at the Lerner Shop for many years before becoming a bank clerk at the Power City Branch of Marine Midland. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and traveling.
Mrs. Boyce was the wife of 61 years to the late Ernest Boyce, who passed away on October 16, 2016.
She is survived by two sons Russell E. (Molly) Boyce and Craig D. (Susan) Boyce, a daughter Cynthia E. Boyce (Tobias Fronmuller), four grandchildren Alexander, Andrew, Ashley and Abigail, a great grand daughter Eloise May, one sister Jessie Albright and by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Boyce was the sister of the late Stewart Zilm.
Her family will be present on Saturday from 10-11:45 AM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held immediately following.
