    Jack Zobrist, 94, of North Tonawanda, Tuesday (March 8, 2022) at home under the care of Niagara Hospice. Jack was born in North Tonawanda on October 4, 1927 to Jacob and Twila (Smith) Zobrist. Jack was a WWII Navy Veteran and Life long resident of North Tonawanda, Jack remained active in his community through volunteering with the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum and Meals on Wheels long past his retirement as a commercial artist from Moore Business Forms. He was an involved member of the Naval Mine Warfare Association and a lifelong member of Payne Avenue Christian Church. He had too many hobbies to list, but of note was his love for painting, drawing and writing poetry. In his spare time he was an avid bowler and organic gardener. Jack was predeceased by his parents, his daughter Brenda Long, sisters Verda (George) Grand, and Della Zobrist, and brother Paul (Ardell) Zobrist.
    Jack is the beloved husband of Marjorie (Dean) Zobrist, devoted father of Lorna (Myron) Annis, and father in law of David Long, loving grandfather of Brian Long, Tracey (Philip) Palmeri, Beth (Eric) Liddle, Max (Celeste) Annis, and Paul (Renee) Annis, proud great-grandfather of 8,
    A Memorial service will be held Saturday (March 12, 2022) at 11 AM at Payne Avenue Christian Church, 1459 Payne Avenue, North Tonawanda, NY 14120
