George Wayne Shaffer, age 83, of North Tonawanda, unexpectedly August 2, 2021 in Kenmore Mercy Hospital. George was a skilled Cabinet Maker, he had worked for Roblin Steel, International Paper, and St. Amelia R. C. Church. He was the husband of the late Norma (Reinbolt) Shaffer. Beloved father of Cynthia (Paul) Pirog and Brian (Josephine) Shaffer. Grandfather of Brittany Shaffer. Brother of Nora (late Edward) Poy, Lois (late John) Lingenfelter, Gail Shaffer, and the late Richard Shaffer and the late Roy Cattau. Uncle of several nieces and nephews.
