Michael Joseph Universal. 59,
of 1788 Welch Ave., died Wednesday
(March 1. 1967) in his
home after a brief illness.
Mr. Universal was born Aug.
29, .1907. in Poland, and had
been a resident here for the last
56 years.
He was formerly employed as
a chemical operator by the Du
Pont Co. for 25 years.
Mr. Universal was a member
of the Du Pont 25 year club.
He was also manager of the
White Eagles baseball team
here during the 1930's and managed
the P h o e n i x Football
Team from 1936 to 1938.
Mr. Universal is survived by
his widow, Gladys Mordzia Universal;
a son, Michael D. Universal,
this city; a sister, Mrs.
Hattie Dryja, of this city; and
five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held
at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the
Zajac Funeral Home and at 10
a.m. at Holy Trinity Church.
Burial will be in Holy Trinity
Cemetery.
Recitation of the rosary will
be held at 8 p.m. Friday at the
funeral home.
Friends may call from 2 to 5
and 7 to 10 p.m. at the funeral
home.

Michael married MORDZIA, Gladys on 24 Apr 1929. Gladys was born on 9 Aug 1911; died on 23 Feb 2000 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
