    broke. According to the petition the
    estate is valued at ?????. Mr.
    Peard's will and was written in his own
    hand and witnessed by Emma Cleve-
    land and gladys Mayhew of East
    Pembroke.
    Objections are filed by J o s e p h H.
    P e a r d and Mrs. Olive Allen, a son
    and daughter of the deceased, who
    a r e represented by Frank J. Robinson.
    Only the usual statutory obj
    e c t i o n s are made, Including t h a t the
    paper Is not the last will and testament
    and not the voluntary act of
    t h e decedent; that he was not of
    sound mind and memory; that the
    will w a s not subscribed and published in

    At 3:40 o'clock, on Saturday morning,
    occurred the death , of Robert
    Peard at his home in Pembroke, from
    heart trouble. Mr. Peard,.who was 73
    years of ago, had been. a. resident of
    Genesee county for a number of years,
    and had lived In the.house where he
    died. for the past 44 years. He was
    born In County Cork; Ireland, coming
    to this country when.nine years of a g e ,
    On April 13, 1861 Mr, Peard enlist
    ed in the Civil.War and after serving
    three months in Captain, R.S, Roak's
    Company was discharged by reason
    of disability. On A u g u s t 20, 1862, Mr.
    Peard re-enlisted In Company . G,
    Eighth New -York Heavy Artillery,
    Colonel Peter A. Eottdffs regiment in
    which he Served until the close of the
    war beihg-discharged on June 6, 1865,
    at Bailey's Cross Roads. He was a
    prominent member of the East Pem-
    broke Lodge No. 194, I.O.O.F. and
    ot the D. W. Kinne P o s t No. 635, G.
    A. R. of Corfu. For the past twenty
    five years Mr. Peard had been engaged
    in the produce business.
    He is survived byy four sons, Robert
    K. Peard of East Pembroke,
    George l., Joseph H. and Hariry R
    Peard of. Batavia and five daughters;
    Miss L u c i l e K; Peard o f Brighton
    Mrs. William Huber, and Mrs. Harry
    Weil of,Buffalo; Mrs. Frank Funke;of
    East Pembroke, and Mrs. Millard F.
    Allen of Batavia and, ten. grandchil-
    dren. His funeral will be held at 2
    o'clock on Monday afternoon, from
    the late home. The burial will be in
    the Hillside cemetery at East Pem-
    broke.

    Fu n e r a l serv i c e s were held today
    for H a r r y R. P e a r d , 67. of 15-Union
    St., d e a n of t h e Genesee C o u n t y Board
    of. S u p e r v i s o r s . He died suddenly
    in Albany Monday.
    His death occurred in the after-
    noon shortly after her arrived there
    by train to attend the annual meet-
    ings of the New York State Asso-
    ciation of Fairs and the United States
    Trotting Association, to which he
    was a delegate.
    Peace Justice Glenn W. Grinnell
    secretary of the Genesee County
    Agricultural Society, stated Super-
    visor Peard had died in the Welling-
    ton Hotel, apparently of a heart at-
    tack.
    Supervisor Peard left here by train
    for albany. He was accompanied by
    Mr. Grinnell, Roy Bloomingdale, Oak-
    field, president, and Harry B. Lapp,
    Alexander, treasurer, of the Gene-
    see County Agricultural Society.
    Active in harness racing circles
    Supervisor Peard was known
    through out the state and was instru-
    mental in bringing the update de-
    but of the pacers and trotters under
    the pari-mutuel betting system to the
    Batavia track last summer. He was
    a director of the Batavia fair.
    A lifelong Democrat, the Batavia
    was in his 22nd year as a member of
    the Board of Supervisors. He repre-
    sented the third Ward in the county
    administration.
    Surviving are his widow, a daughter,
    Mrs. Ruth McConnell, Attica,
    and two sons, Robert, Batavia and
    Oscar Peard, Kenmore.

    No. 29 Holland avenue, at 12:45
    o'clock this morning following a long
    illness. Surviving Mr. Peard are his
    wife, Mrs. Jennie Peard; a daughter,
    Isabelle, who teaches a t . Poughkeepsie;
    a son, John Peard at home; three
    brothers. Supervisor Harry R. Peard
    of No. 15.Union street, Joseph Peard
    of the town of Batavia and Robert K.
    Peard of East Pembroke; and four
    sisters, Mrs. Millard Allen of Bushville,
    Mrs. H a r r y Well of Buffalo, Mrs.
    F r a n k Funke of the town of Batavia,
    and Mrs. James Lorraine, of New
    York.
    Funeral services for Mr. Peard will
    be held at his late home Saturday afternoon.
    Interment will be in the
    East Pembroke cemetery.

    Sally graduated from Kenmore West High School, Cornell University in 1951 and from the University of Buffalo School of Law in 1954. She along with her husband started Wagner's Farm Market and had worked until retiring in 2013.
    Sally was treasurer and director of the Sanborn Library for over 40 years and was a member and served as treasurer of the First Baptist Church of Sanborn. She enjoyed reading, skiing, traveling throughout the world and doing crossword puzzles.

    Sally is survived by her husband of 57 years Lester A. Wagner,Jr., they were married on August 17, 1957, two sons Lester A. (Valerie) Wagner, III of Montville, NJ, Peter J. (Tammy) Wagner, two daughters Amy E. (Ricky) Winkelmann and Wendy R. (Dale Walck) Hiddie all of Sanborn, ten grandchildren Larissa, Rhianna, Lester IV, Taylor, Sarah, Ryan, Troy, Jillian, Derek and Brendon, a sister Kathryn (Francois) Petot, a sister in law Glee Treichler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a infant son late William.

    The family will be present on Monday, from 3-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM with Rev. Jonathan Haseley officiating.

    Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in her name to the Sanborn Library.
