    Youngstown-Lockport Road,
    died today (Sept. 9,1972) at the
    Lockport Memorial Hospital
    where he had been a patient for
    one day.
    He was born in Germany, son
    of the late Charles and Anna
    Bohnstadt. He worked for the
    Marks Nursery, Wilson, for 28
    years, then was a custodian in
    the Wilson School district for
    ten years, retiring in 1967.
    He made his home in Wilson,
    moving to Ransomville one
    year ago. He was the widower
    of Irene Schultz Bohnstadt who
    died in 1964.
    He is survived by a daughter,
    Mrs. Neil (Arlene) Seefeldt, of
    Ransomville; three sisters,
    Mrs. Harry Rohring, Mrs.
    Elton Bluhm, and Mrs.
    Edward Steadman, all of
    Lockport.
    Funeral services will be held
    at 2p.m. Tuesday at St. Peters
    Lutheran Church, North Ridge,
    with the Rev. David Musall
    officiating. Burial will be in
    St. Peters Lutheran Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the
    Hardison Funeral Home from 2
    to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday

    Obituary of Arlene Seefeldt

    Arlene B. Seefeldt, age 81, of Ransomville, died unexpectedly at her home on Monday October 31, 2016.


    Arlene was born August 13, 1935 in the Town of Wilson, the daughter of the late Paul and Irene (Schultz) Bohnstadt. She was a graduate of Wilson High School and on May 1, 1954 she married Neil L. Seefeldt. Together they worked their family farm and took their produce to the Niagara Falls Market and the Clinton & Bailey Market in Buffalo. At the same time Arlene worked for 11 years as a secretary at the Wilson High School. In 1964 she began her pursuit of a career as a teacher, attending Buffalo State Teachers College. Arlene received her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Education and English in 1967 at which time she began teaching English at Lewiston-Porter Schools, at both the Junior and Senior High. She retired in 1989 after 22 years of service.


    Arlene was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran at North Ridge. She sang in the choir, was the organist for many years, and had served as principal of the school for two years as well as on its' Board of Education. Arlene had also served as the organist for North Ridge United Methodist Church and had served on the Town of Wilson Board of Assessment Review. Arlene was a member of the NY State Retired Teachers Association.




    Her husband, Neil, predeceased her in 1987. She is survived by several cousins, godchildren, and her church family.


    A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, November 15, at 11:00 am in St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church at North Ridge, 4169 Church Rd. Town of Cambria, with the Rev. Robert Hoffman officiating. There will be no prior visitation. Arlene was laid to rest with her husband at North Ridge Cemetery with a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church at North Ridge, 4169 Church Rd., Lockport, NY 14094 or to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville.

    Marilyn M. Burch, age 87, of Cambria wife of Clifford E. Burch entered into rest on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, NY. Marilyn was born on February 8, 1933 in the Town of Cambria, NY. She is the daughter of the late Elton and Margaret (Bohnstadt) Bluhm. Marilyn graduated from Wilson High School class of 1951, then went on to attend Deconness School of Nursing where she became an RN. She was an avid learner and later attended the University of Buffalo where she earned her bachelors of nursing. She met Clifford E. Burch while he was stationed at Fort Niagara and they married on July 16, 1955. They were married for 64 years.Marilyn had a nursing career spanning over 30 years serving her community at Newfane ICMH Hospital, Ransomville Hospital, Thomas Marks Elementary in Wilson as a School Nurse, as well as holding positions as an Associate Professor at NCCC and the Director of the ICU at Sheehan Hospital in Buffalo. Following her retirement Marilyn followed her lifelong dream and started a successful photography business with her husband, traveling the world to photograph nature and landscapes. She is survived by her husband; Clifford; two sons, Steve (Michele) Burch of Albion, NY and David Burch of Oswego, NY; Three grandchildren; Kelsey (Jeff) Spradlin, Courtney (Bo) Cook, and Carrie (Nathan) Supernois also four great grandchildren, Sophia, Elliana, Ashley, Alexis. She is predeceased by her brother, Milford (Vera) Bluhm. No services will be held at this time.     of the 320th Infantry Division, was
    killed In action In France August
    18,1944. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Rohrlng
    were notified of their son's death In
    a telegram from the War department.
    He attended Wilson high
    school and was employed in the
    Harrison Radiator division of Gen-
    eral Motors corporation, Lockport,
    before entering the army. He was
    inducted at Fort Niagara, February
    3, 1943, and received his training at
    camp Croft, South Carolina, and
    Fort Meade, Maryland. Her was pro-
    moted to corporal and was awarded
    the good conduct ribbon while
    at Fort Meade. He was sent overseas
    In July.
    He Is survived by his parents; a
    sister. Audrey Rohring, and his

    Audrey A. Rohring, age 94, of the Town of Lockport died on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at home with her son and daughter in law by her side while she was under the care of Niagara Hospice. Audrey was born November 10, 1927, in the Town of Wilson, NY. She is the daughter of the late Harry and the late Anna (Bonstead) Rohring. Audrey married Durwood J. Rohring on April 22, 1950, he predeceased her on October 8th, 2020. Audrey worked at GM/ Harrison Radiator as a line operator for 14 years retiring at age 60 in 1987. She enjoyed trips to the casinos and was a member of the UAW Travel Club. She was a avid bowler and bowled on the church bowling league for many years, Audrey loved to bake as well. Audrey and her later husband Durwood were members of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church at North Ridge for many years. She is survived by three sons; Douglas (Wanda) Rohring of Albion, NY, Craig (Diane) Rohring of Georgia and Dennis (Kristin) Rohring of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Rebecca (Kevin) Dillenbeck and Danielle Rohring also a great grandson Brandon Dillenbeck who shed loved spending time with; several nieces and nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Durwood and her brother Douglas C. Rohring who passed away during the war in 1944.There will be no callings hours. Funeral services will be private with her family.
