  1. 1.  BAUER, Roger Allen was born on 27 Dec 1932 in New York; died on 20 Mar 1958 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY.

    A 25-year-old Niagara Falls plant worker today became*
    this city's second traffic fatality victim for 1958 after a car
    he was operating became involved in a collision wkh another
    car at 24th St. and Woodlawn Ave. last midnight. The
    operator of the second car was injured in the accident.
    The dead man was:
    Roger A. Bauer, 25, of 2402 Ontario Ave., who died
    of head injuries at 2:30 a.m. at Memorial Hospital.
    Injured in the mishap was:
    Victor A. Talarico, 38, of 2442 Woodlawn Ave., a general
    Contractor, who suffered head, chest and knee injuries, Bis
    condition was listed as "fair" at the same hospital.
    Police said Bauer, an Internat
    i o n a l Graphite and Electrode
    Corp. employe and part time taxicab
    driver, was driving hts own
    car at the time. He was going
    south and Talarico was driving
    east when the cars collided.
    Hurled Through Window
    Bauer, according to police, was
    hurled through a window of the car;
    on the passenger side of the vehicle.
    His car came to rest against a
    street sign.
    Talarico's car, police said, traveled
    about 70 feet after the accident before
    it struck a house occupied
    by George Marincucci, 2403 Woodlawn
    Ave.
    The two men were taken to Me-
    morial Hospital by Frontier Ambulance.
    Police said they issued a summons,
    charging failure to heed a
    stop sign at the intersection, to Talarico.
    It is returnable in City Court on
    Wednesday.
    Lt. Stanley Olszewski and Traffic
    Officers Bruno Giunta and John
    R. O'Farrell investigated the misi
    hap.
    Coroner F. Eugene Ingram said
    he was withholding a death certificate
    pending further investigation
    into the fatality-
    It was the first fatal traffic accident
    here since Jan. 10. The two
    traffic deaths to date in this city for
    1958 compare to one at this time
    last year.
    Was an Inspector
    Mr. Bauer was an inspector for
    the International Graphite and Electrode
    Corp.
    He is survived bj his wife, Mrs.
    Audrey Jane Bauer, two son Dennis
    Allen and Robert Francis Bauer;
    his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick
    T. Bauer, Town of Niagara; four
    brothers, John. Joseph, Frederick
    and Clarence Bauer, this city, and
    a sister, Mrs. Betty Atkinson, Town
    of Niagara.
    Funeral arrangements, which will
    be announced, are being made by
    the Cornell and Daggett funeral
    chapel.

    ALLEN SCHMIDLI, an Infant, by
    AUDREY JANE BAUER, his mother
    and guardian.
    On reading and filing the petition
    of AUDREY JANE BAUER, verified
    September 11. 1968, praying for a
    change of name of the above named
    infant. DENNIS ALLEN SCHMIDLI,
    it being requested that he be permit
    ted to assume the neme of DENNIS
    ALLEN BAUER, in the place and
    stead of hit present name and sufficient
    cause having been shown, notice
    of this application to the father of
    said Infant is hereby dispensed with,
    and the court being satisfied that the
    sald petition It true and it appearing
    from the said petition and the court
    being satisfied that there is no reasonable
    objection to the change of name
    proposed and it further duly appearing
    that the said infant was born on

    of Article 6 of the Civil Rights Law
    and of this order, namely.

    be filed within ten days from the
    date hereof in the office of the clerk
    of the County of Niagara: that within
    twenty days from the date of enry
    hereof, a copy of this order shall be
    published in the Niagara Falls Gazette,
    a newspaper published in, the
    County of Niagara, New York: and
    that, within forty days of the making
    of this order, proof of such publication
    by affidavit shall be filed with,
    the clerk of the County ot Niagara.
    That, followlng the due filing of

    NIAGARA FALLS -
    Dennis A. Bauer, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2014. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on March 2, 1953, the son of Audrey (Adams) Bauer and the late Roger Bauer.
    Mr. Bauer graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School. He was employed with Modern and later as a car hauler with Leaseway for 19 years. Mr. Bauer enjoyed spending time with his family, playing his guitar, singing and playing in several bands.
    He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Terri E. (Andalora) Bauer; four sons, Dennis A. (Fanessa) Bauer of Pendleton, Christopher J. (Jamie) Bauer, Ryan T. (Noelle DelZoppo) Bauer and Robb N. (Tina Fiorentini) Bauer, all of Niagara Falls, NY; six grandchildren, Hailey, Christopher, Trinidy, Gabby, Mason and Robert; a brother, Robert F. (Carol) Bauer; a sister, Deborah J. (Ronald Beasock) Bauer. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
    The family will be present on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 7-8:30 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held at 8:30 PM, with the Rev. Ronald E. Maines officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined.
