Pat spent most of her life in Western New York, having lived in Lockport, Gasport, and Akron. She loved to garden and was talented with sewing and crocheting. She also loved traveling and camping with family and friends. After retiring from a career in retailing, customer service, and office management, she realized her dream of moving to Arizona to be closer to her mother and sister. She spent some time traveling around the country from California to New York and Florida to Washington, where she visited numerous state and national parks and landmarks as well as countless lighthouses, which were a special love of hers.
In 2004, she settled in Prescott Valley, AZ, to enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains and still experience all four seasons. During this time, she enjoyed going on multiple cruises with her sister, Judy. In December 2021, she moved to Ohio due to declining health.
She was predeceased by her parents, Elton William Bentean and Mary Wilson; and her son, Scott Fiegl.
She is survived by her children, David Fiegl of Buffalo, NY, Christopher (Scotty Phillips) Fiegl of Fremont, OH, and Jennifer (Michael) Foster of Rochester, NY; and grandchildren, Jonathan, Matthew, and Graceanne Foster. She is also survived by her sister, Judith (Jon) Smith of Pearce, AZ; and several nieces and nephews.
The family is deeply grateful to the "special angels" of SouthernCare Hospice Services who provided extraordinary medical care and emotional support during her final days.
No formal services will be held.
