Childs, 68, of 8805 Chestnut
Ridge Road, died unexpectedly
Thursday (January 22, 1970) at
his home of an apparent heart
attack.
The son of Clifford D. and
Elizabeth. (Danser) Childs, he
was born March 22, 1901, in the
Town of Clarence.
He was an e q u i p m e nt
operator for the Town of
Royalton for 20 years and
retired from Smith's Green
house, Town of Hartland, in
1966.
Survivors include his wife, the
former Florence Stahl; two
sons, Richard of Gasport and
Allen Childs of Middleport; a
daughter, Mrs. Duane (Eleanor)
Kleutts of Lockport and three
brothers, Harold of Gasport,
Lloyd of North Tonawanda and
Perry Childs of Middleport.
Also surviving are eight
grandchildren, " two g r e a t,
grandchildren, and s e v e r al
nieces and nephews.

2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at
the Wallace and Heath Funeral
Home, Inc. where funeral services
will be held Sunday at
2 p.m. with the Rev. R.
Carlton Fausett. pastor of the

Church, officiating. Burial will
be in the Royalton Mountain
Ridge Cemetery.

LOCKPORT -
Eleanor E. Klutts of Lockport passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the Orchard Manor Nursing Home in Medina, NY. Mrs. Klutts was born in the Town of Royalton on May 27, 1927, daughter of the late Vernon and Florence (Stahl) Childs and she grew up in the Town of Royalton. She and her husband, Duane Klutts, were married on August 15, 1947 and he predeceased her in 1977.
She was employed as an account clerk for Niagara County Department of Economic Development and was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Niagara County Council of the Aging, Middleport Senior Citizens, Lutheran Women's Missionary League and was also a member of the Home Bureau Handicrafters Group. She enjoyed her family, traveling, bowling and playing Eucre.
She was predeceased by a grandson, Daniel Klutts; and two siblings, Richard Childs and Allen Childs. She is survived by two sons and two daughters, Roxanne (Keith) Wallace of Lockport, Darryl (Beth) Klutts of Harpursville, NY, Melinda Haberer and Kirby (Candy) Klutts, both of Lockport. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Wendy (David) Nour of Georgia, Todd (Holly) Kenyon of Montana, Maggie Klutts of Utica, NY, Katie Klutts of Washington, DC, Abby Klutts of Harpursville, NY, Mitchell Haberer of Grand Island, NY, Nathan (Dawn) Harberer of Rochester, Heather (Phillip) Garis and Hilary (Ethan) Taylor, all of Lockport. Also surviving are eight great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Shirley Tennant of Ohio.
Friends may call Monday from 6-9 PM at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St. Middleport. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 133 Telegraph Road Middleport, NY. Burial will be in Royalton Mt. Ridge Cemetery.

Brenda R. Fry, 63, passed away in Bowling Green on February 3, 2022. Born August 11, 1958 in Medina, New York, to the late Allen and Ruth Childs.
She owned and retired from B & G Bikes in Hartland, NY. Growing up with her family, Brenda, attended and was also married to the love of her life, Gary, at Royalton United Methodist Church. She later was a member of Lockport Assembly of God, Bowling Green First Assembly, and is currently a member of Centerpointe Church in Bowling Green.
A volunteer at Solomon's Cellar (Hotel Inc.), Habitat for Humanity, and a member of the Ladies Municipal Golf Association and Indian Hills Bowling League.
Survived by her husband, Gary; brothers, Dennis Childs of Riverview, FL, Larry (Holly) Childs of Middleport, NY. Preceded in death by brother, Calvin Childs (1981). Sisters-in-law, Debbie (Dean) Lorenzen of Loveland, CO, Annette (Paul) Mullane of Lyndonville, NY; and brother-in-law, Greg (Theresa) Fry, Clarence, NY. Also several nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorial service will be February 23rd at Centerpointe Church in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Memorial service will be held on February 23rd at 6:30 PM central time at Centerpointe Church, 1000 Roselawn Way, Bowling Green. Service will be live streamed on the church website at Centerpointebg.com.
