Memorial Hospital after
a brief illness. Mr.
Hawkins was a member
of St. Peter's United
Church of Christ, an
Army Air Force veteran
of World War II and an
employee of Niagara
Mohawk Power Corp. for
26 years.
He is survived by his
wife, Ruth (nee Semper)
Hawkins; a son, Douglas
T. Hawkins of Pittsburgh,
Pa., and a daughter, Mrs.
James (Janice) Mc-
Closkeyof Buffalo, NY.;
a grandson, Gregory
M c C l o s k e y ; two
brothers, Russell and J.
Leonard Hawkins, both of
Phoenix, Ariz.
The family will receive
friends at the Fretthold
Funeral Home, Inc., 1241
Oliver St., at Ward Rd.,
North Tonawanda this
evening from 7 to 9 and
Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 p.m. Services will be
held at the funeral home
Thursday at 10 a.m., the
Rev. George S. Snyder
will officiate. Interment
in White Chapel
Memorial Park. If so
desired, memorials may
be made to St. Peter's
United Church of Christ
