SPARK - Alice H. (nee
Schlegel) of 9001 Mountain
Road, Gasport, widow of Percy
B. Spark, passed away Tuesday
morning, Jan. 11, 1972, at the
Medina Memorial Hospital. She
is survived by one daughter,
Mrs. Irene Miller of Middleport;
two sons, Calvin J. Spark and
Percy B. Spark, both of Gas-
port; eight grandchildren and
two great-grandchildren; two
sisters, Mrs. Emma Becker and
Mrs. Freda Schilling, both of
Gasport; and several nieces and
nephews. Friends may call
Tuesday evening from 7-9,
Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 at
the Wallace and Heath Funeral
Home, Inc., Middleport, where
funeral services will be held
Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock,
with the Rev. Roert Cooper
officiating. Burial in Royalton
Mountain Ridge Cemetery.

MIDDLEPORT -
Irene Miller of Middleport, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Mrs. Miller was born in Medina, NY on March 14, 1921 daughter of the late Percy and Alice (Schegle) Spark and she has lived in Middleport all of her life.
Mrs. Miller was employed at FMC Corp. in Middleport as an Office Manager for several years until retirement. She was a member of the Middleport Universalist Church, a member and Past President of the American Legion Auxiliary Clute Phillips Post #938 and formerly served on the Board of Directors of the Niagara County Office for the Aging and she was a member of the Gasport Senior Citizens. She enjoyed her family and yard work.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Calvin Spark and Percy Spark. She is survived by a son, Jack (Trudy) Miller of Attica, NY; her beloved grandson, Tyler J. Miller also of Attica; a sister-in-law, Lois Spark of Middleport; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no prior visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, Middleport, NY.
