Charles John Karre, 67, died early Thursday night in his residence at 232 Oak Ter., Mount Penn. (Reading Pennsylvania). Born in North Tonawanda, NY a son of Otto and Louise (Schultz) Karre, he was a retired lumber merchant. He is survived by his widow, Esther E. (Kohler) Karre, and a daughter, Ruth I. wife of Leslie Wareham of New York City. Also a brother, Hiram, of North Tonawanda, and five sisters Helenn, wife of Merritt Annis; Estella, wife of Edwin Urban, Edna, widow of Robert Gladstone, Marian, wife of Clyde Drake, and Doris, wife of James VerHague, all of North Tonawanda. Arrangements are in charge of the Lutz Funeral Home.Charles married KOHLER, Esther Ella on 5 Sep 1922 in Tonawanda, Erie County, NY.
