BURT, Feb. 11 - Eimer Stratton.
64, of Center street, died at his home
yesterday, following a stroke suffered
a week ago.- Although he had been
in ill health for more than a year,
he was confined to his bed only a
week.
Mr. Stratton was born in the
Town of Newfane, a son of the late
Valerie and Ella Craw Stratton. He
married Carrie Norris, of the Charlotteville
road, Newfane. and they
have since lived in the Town of Newfane
most of which time was spent
in Burt.
- Besides his wife, he is survived
by one son, Lawrence Stratton, Washington,
D. C.
The Rev. Robert Fuller, pastor of
the Newfane First Baptist church,
will officiate at funeral services at
the Corwin Funeral home, Newfane,
tomorrow at 2:30 p. m. Interment will
be in Corwin cemetery.
Mr. Stratton was a farmer most
of his life but worked a few years
for the former International Railway
company.
