    Notes:

    TERRY G. FRITZ, age 80, of Pendleton, NY, entered into rest on February 13, 2021. He was born in North Tonawanda, NY, to Glenn E. and Rose E. (West) Fritz. Terry leaves behind his beloved wife of 58 years, Jill M. (Phillips) Fritz; two children, Tracy (Dale) Selbert and Jeffrey Fritz; grandchildren, Chad Selbert, Amanda (Nick) Gonnella, and Rachael Fritz; a brother, Ronald Fritz; brother-in-law, Robert (Karen) Phillips; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.After high school, Terry served honorably on active duty in the United States Navy, on the USS Yorktown, from 1958-1962. He held various jobs afterwards, including ownership of a service station, tractor trailer driver, Ken-ton adult education instructor, teaching basic auto mechanics, and then joined the 107th. New York Air National Guard in Niagara Falls, working full time as a mechanic and retired as a Master Sergeant. After his retirement, Terry remained busy and worked part time driving dump truck, shuttle vans, school and tour buses. He enjoyed hunting, motorcycling, RVing, bean bag baseball and traveling the United States with Jill by his side, seeing all 50 states. Terry volunteered for Twin Cities Meals on Wheels, and was a Salvation Army bell ringer. He belonged to the USS Yorktown Association, the RATS/RAGS, the Pendleton Veterans Association, the NT High School Reunion Committee, and the American Legion Post No. 2 in Wauchula, FL. Terry loved his family, friends, and living life to the fullest. He will be in our hearts and memories always.Private services were held in the DuBois Funeral Home, Wheatfield, with the family. A "Celebration of Terry's Life" will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Terry's memory, to Niagara Hospice.
