    Nancy Flanders Young died on Tuesday, September 15, 2020. Born on February26, 1929 in Lockport, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Lillian (Gardei) Flanders. She lived in Lockport all of her life, graduated from Lockport High School class of 1946 and worked at the Niagara County National Bank/Marine Trust Company.Nancy was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church (United Church of Christ) Mayflower Guild, She was a founding member and President of the Family Seminar Mothers Club, former President of the Better Gardens Club, two bowling leagues and several bridge clubs. She volunteered at Meals on Wheels and the American Red Cross Blood Mobile. She was also an avid reader.In 1950, she married Lauren Malcolm Young who died in 2006. Surviving are her children, Cynthia Acklin of Akron, Ohio and James (Bonnie) Young of Centreville, VA; granddaughters, Lauren (William) Jackson, and Caroline Young; great granddaughter, Olivia Leigh Jackson; brother, William (Barbara) Flanders of Venice, FL; niece, Susan (James) SanFilippo and nephew, David (Sonya) Flanders.Friends may call on Monday, September 21st , 12-2 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave., Lockport followed by a graveside service in Cold Springs Cemetery.     A A A William L. "Bill" Flanders, 87, passed away peacefully at his home in Venice, FL, on December 2, 2021. He was born on April 2, 1934 in Lockport, NY, to Howard C. and Lillian M. (Gardei) Flanders.
    Bill was a loyal husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He graduated from Lockport Senior High School in 1951, and Kettering University (formerly General Motors Institute) in 1958. He worked at Harrison Radiator division of General Motors Corporation as an Industrial Engineer from 1952-1991, after which he retired and moved to Venice in 1992. He was a Mason and member of the Red Jacket Lodge No. 646, and the American Legion. Bill was an avid sports fan, particularly of the Buffalo Bills. He also enjoyed automobiles, vintage racing at Watkins Glen, and jazz music.
    He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara; daughter, Susan; son, David; and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Nancy Young.
    Services will be held in Lockport, NY, at the convenience of the family at a later date.
