TOWN OF NIAGARA — James Edward Jacobs, of the Town of Niagara, died on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at home. He was 74. He was born in Niagara Falls, New York, on November 17, 1937, a son of William and Bridgett Mary (Boyce) Jacobs. He attended local schools and was retired from the City of Niagara Falls Parks Department.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth "Debbie" Allan of the Town of Niagara; three children, Lisa Marie Jacobs, Lynn (Gary) Zanardy and Michael Joseph (Maureen) Jacobs, siblings, Evelyn Curcio, Sally Fowle and Eileen Kalar; four grandchildren, Allen Matthew Talarico Jacobs, Hannah Congi, Bridgett Weber and Molly Congi; and his faithful canine companion, Mr. Wilson. He was predeceased by a sister, Virginia Kirchue; and three brothers, Thomas, Donald and William Jacobs.

Private funeral services were held on Monday in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., Niagara Falls. Interment followed in Acacia Park Cemetery.

Sally A. Fowle, of Youngstown, NY, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2013, in Niagara Hospice House surround by her family. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on December 7, 1938, the daughter of the late William and Mary Bridget (Boyce) Jacobs.
Mrs. Fowle graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She was employed with Harrison Radiator in Lockport for 19 years, before retiring in 1992. Mrs. Fowle loved spending time with her family and enjoyed traveling, cooking and going to the casino.
She was the wife of 54 years to the late Robert C. Fowle, who died in December of 2012. Mrs. Fowle is survived by her four children, Robert Fowle of Youngstown, NY, Eileen (Mike) Batchen of Tonawanda, NY, Karen (Ed) Linnane of Lewiston, NY and Scott (Annemarie) Fowle of Niagara Falls, NY; three grandsons, Joshua Fowle of Lewiston, Scott and Sean Fowle, both of Niagara Falls, NY; two sisters, Evelyn (late Victor) Curcio and Eileen (Donald) Kalar; two sisters-in-law, Jackie and Debbie Jacobs. She is also survived by a large number of loving in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Thomas, Donald (late Marilyn), William and James Jacobs and Virginia Kirchue.
The family will be present on Thursday from 11-2 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY, where funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, with the Rev. Michael P. Zuffoletto officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in her name to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094. Inurnment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.

Evelyn L. (Jacobs) Curcio, of Niagara Falls, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 in Buffalo Mercy Hospital.  She was 83.  She was born in Niagara Falls on April 1, 1936, the daughter of the late William and Mary (Boyce) Jacobs. 
Evelyn was raised with her seven other siblings in Niagara Falls. Growing up, family was always the most important of her life.  That remained true her entire life, with her children, Christopher and Rebecca; grandchildren, Andrew (Leanna) Chapman; Ashley Curcio; Nicholas (Fiancée Heather) Chapman; Katherine Curcio and great grandchildren, Lincoln and Addison. 
She married Victor Curcio July 18, 1959.  They spent many happy years together.  Victor passed away September 9, 1990. 
Evelyn was employed by Jenss Department Store for many years in the men’s department.  She enjoyed gardening and spending time in her back yard.  She especially loved spending time with her loving family and friends. 
She is survived by her children, Christopher (Martha) Curcio and Rebecca (Gerald) Chapman; a sister, Eileen (Donald) Kalar; her grandchildren; great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by her siblings, Virginia Kirchue; Thomas; William; Donald; James Jacobs and Sally Fowle.
Private Funeral services were held yesterday for the family.  The interment was in Acacia Park Cemetery.  The LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., handled the arrangements. 
The family would especially like to thank the 7th and 5th floor staff of Mercy Hospital for their excellent care in her time of need.
