TONAWANDA-Mrs. Julia Muck,
76, died today at her home, 272
Young street. She was bom in the
town of Amherst and had resided
here the last 54 years. She was the
wife of the late Frank Muck, a
member of the Salem Evangelical
Reformed church and a char
ter member of the Women's Auxil-
ary of Tonawandas Post, Ameri-
can Legion.
Surviving are a daughter. Adella.
a son, Allen, both of this city; one
grandchild; two sisters. Mrs. John
Fries, of Buffalo, and Mrs. Lena
Kibler. of Amherst, and a brother,
Henry Allenbach. of Amherst.
Funeral services will be held Sunday
at the home at 2 p. m. The
Rev. Walter Hetzel will officiate.
Interment will be In Elmlawn
cemetery.

Hospital after a long illness. A
native of Tonawanda, she was a
member of Salem United
Church of Christ, Women's
Auxiliary to DeGraff Memorial
Hospital, Tonawandas Post 264,
American Legion Auxiliary and
a charter member of the 272
Club.
She is survived by her
husband, Paul F. Baumgartner;
a brother, Allan Muck and a
niece, Mrs. Vincent (Marilyn)
Slattery, both of Tonawanda;
two great-nieces, Mrs. Daniel
Gagnon of Warner Robins, Ga.,
and Tamara Slattery of Tonawanda.
Friends may call at John O.
Roth Funeral Home, Morgan
and William Sts., Tonawanda,
where services will be
conducted at 11 a.m. Friday by
the Rev. Karl H.A. Rest. Burial
will be in Elmlawn Cemetery
