    morning after A long illness.
    Born In Lincoln, England, Mr.
    Allinson came to this city as a
    youth. He formerly had charge of
    the ice machines at the plant of the
    Mathieson Alkali Works, Inc., here
    and retired 24 years ago because of
    falling health. He was a member of
    Niagara Falls Lodge, No. 81,1.O.O J.,
    and the Knights of Maccabees.
    He is survived by his wife, Mrs.
    Hilda E. Allinson. and two brothers,
    Alfred and George Allinson, all of
    this city.
    Funeral services will be held at
    the family home under I.O.O.F. auspices
    at 2 p.m. Tuesday, with the
    Rev. Dr. Philip W. Moaner officiating,
    assisted by the Rev. Joshua E.
    Nelson. Interment will be made in
    Memorial Park cemetery.

    Harry Allinson. 64. of 522 Twentythird
    street, superintendent of the
    Chlorine department of the Mathieson
    Alkali Works. Inc., died this
    morning at 10:10 o'clock in Mem- ;
    orial hospital after a brief Illness.
    Death was due to a cerebral hemor-
    rhage which he suffered at 3 o'clock
    this morning in his home.
    Prominent for many years in
    Masonic circles, Mr. Allinson last
    night attended an International
    Visitation meeting of members of
    the Knights Templar of the Canadian
    and American Niagara border
    cities. He was In good spirits during
    the evening and showed no
    symptoms of the illness which resulted
    in his death.
    Born in England. Mr. Allinson
    came to this city 45 years ago from
    Conneaut, Ohio. He had been connected
    with the Mathieson firm for
    43 years. To his intimates he was
    known as "Pop" Allinson. From his
    youth he was active in many lines
    of sport on the Niagara frontier
    and was a pitcher with the old
    Factory Baseball league. He also
    played basketball and was an
    ardent golfer, being one of the first
    to take advantage of the Hyde Park
    golf links when they were first
    opened.
    Mr. Allinson was a member of
    Niagara Frontier Lodge. No. 132.

    He was a past commander of the
    last-named organization. He was a
    member also of the Church of the

    Surviving Mr. Allinson are his
    wife, Mrs. Jane Allinson. a son.

    held on Tuesday afternoon at 2

    George Allinson, 66, of 2004 Grand
    avenue, died yesterday at his home,
    A native of England, he had been
    a resident of this city for the last
    45 years, all of which time he was
    employed as a repair foreman for
    the Mathieson Alkali company.
    he is survived by two sons, George
    T. of this city, and Charles H., of
    Plattsburg, N..Y., and by three
    daughters, Mrs. Eva Moudy, Mrs.
    Dorothy Butler and Hilda allinson,
    all of this city. A brother, Alfred
    Allinson, of this city, nine grandchil-
    dren and three great-grandchildren
    also survive.
    Funeral services will be held from
    the Cobler Funeral home on Wed-
    nesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with
    the Rev. David H. Weeks officiating.
    Interment will be in Oakwood ceme-
    tery, with services by Lodge No. 81,
    I.O.O.F. of which Mr. Allinson was
    a member, at the grave.

    landing Sunday night was identified
    last night as that of Henry Eugene
    twice went through bankruptcy pro-
    this city, who had been missing from
    his home since April 20.
    Identification was made by his

    Ont„ to which the body had been
    taken after being removed from the
    river.
    A veteran of overseas service Al-
    Iinson was described as having been
    m poor health prior to his dis-
    appearance. He was suffering from
    malaria.
    Born in this city, he lived here
    all his life. During the war he
    served overseas for three years with
    the coast artillery, airborne para-
    troops, First Armored Division. He
    returned home in October and was
    employed in this city at the time of
    his disappearance.
    Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rita
    Allinson, his parents, Mr.and Mrs,
    Alfred Allinson, one brother, Alfred
    E. Allinson, and two sisters, Mrs.

    Linda resided in Niagara Falls all of her life and attended local schools.  She enjoyed going to Bingo, crocheting, knitting, collecting toys and cookie jars. She also enjoyed making Christmas stockings for her family and friends.  Above all, she cherished spending time with her family.
     
    In addition to her companion David, she is survived by her children, William “Tiger”Gamble and Toby Wieczorek; brothers Harry Allinson and Alfred (late Rosemary) Allinson. She is also survived by two grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by her sister, Barbara (late Ralph) Szopinski and brother, Richard (Diana) Allinson.

    Loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother

    Barbara A. (Allinson) Szopinski, 67, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014, at her Niagara Falls residence. Born and educated in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Alfred E. and Thelma M.(Winker) Allinson.

    She married Ralph "Tom" Szopinski, Jr. on July 3, 1981 in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Szopinski preceded her in death on June 13, 2008. Barbara loved all children. She also enjoyed being a housewife and a mother by creating a loving home for her family. Barbara was also a long-time fan of Elvis Presley.

    Barbara is survived by 11 children, Michele (Flvio) Diaz, Chantal Radowsky, Scott (Tammy) Radowsky, Issac (Trisha) Drake, Tyrone (Nicole) Drake, Debbie (Jake) Seright, Jerone Drake, Daniel (Melissa) Allinson, Joseph (Michelle) Allinson, Angela (Gerald) Szopinski and Joelle (Howard) Szopinski, and is also survived by many grand-children and great-grandchildren. Barbara is survived by one sister, Linda Allinson; three brothers, Harry Allinson and family, Alfred (Rose)Allinson, Richard (Diane) Allinson and many nieces and nephews.

    Richard was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area.  He attended local schools and graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School.  On July 8, 1978, he married Diana ‘Deedy’ (Alfiere) Allinson in Our Lady of the Rosary Church.  Richard was employed as a managing supervisor at Modern Corporation in Lewiston for the past forty years.  Richard enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, fixing cars and spending time at his camp in the Southern Tier.  Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
    In addition to his beloved wife of 40 years, Richard is survived by his two sons, Alfred Allinson and Matthew J. Allinson, three grandchildren, Haylie, Jaxson and Alainah, brothers and sister, Harry ‘Butch’ Allinson, Alfred ‘Sonny’ (late Rosemarie) Allinson and Linda (David) Leone, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was also predeceased by a sister, Barbara (late Tom) Szopinski.
    Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3-8 p.m. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday Aril 11th at 10:00 a.m. at St Jude the Apostle Church, 800 Niagara Falls Boulevard, North Tonawanda, NY.  EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH.  Interment will follow in Acacia Park Cemetery.  Visit www.mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
