    Thomas Alliss, 83,, of 1137
    North Ave., died Friday (Oct.
    7. 1966) at Mount St. Mary's
    Hospital after a lengthy illness.
    He was a native of Niagara
    Fallfl and had lived at the North
    Avenue address for more than
    50 years until being taken ill.
    He was a civil engineer for
    the city from 1920 until he retired
    in 1953.
    He was, the husband of Mary
    Alliss, who died in 1942.
    He was the father of William
    E. Alliss, who died in April
    1966.
    Surviving are three sisters
    Miss Sarah Alliss, Mrs. George
    (Maude) Schreiner and Mrs.
    Alexander (Grace) Haseley, all
    of this city.
    Funeral services will be held
    at the Rhoney Funeral Home
    Monday at 11:30 a.m., with the
    Rev. John E. Wickenden, Epiphany
    Episcopal Church, officiating.
    Friends may call at the
    funeral home from 2 to 5 and
    7 to 9 p,m. beginning today.
    Burial will be in Gate of
    Heaven Cemetery.

    Thomas married BROOKS, Mary Jenette on 21 Oct 1911 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY. Mary (daughter of BROOKS, James Edgar and Mary) was born in Mar 1888 in New York; died on 28 Jan 1942 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
