Grandfather of Holden, Heathcliff, Madisyn and Preston; beloved son of Frederick J. Scherrer of the Town of Wheatfield and the late Joyce (Marten) Scherrer; beloved grandson of Beatrice Marten; brother of Michele Erwin of Wheatfield; uncle of Nicholas Lupo; great uncle of Gracey Anne; nephew of Keith and Glory Marten.. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM from St. John Lutheran Church, the Rev. Ronald Oravec will officiate. Interment in St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
