evening (May 20, 1962) at
DeGraff Memorial Hospital,
after a lingering illness.
Born in Canada, she lived
here for nine years. Surviving
are four sons, Cecil A.

Arthur W. Ammerman, Pendleton;
Fred M. Ammerman,
Wheatfield, and Ezra R. Ammerman,
this city; 16 grandchildren
and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted
at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the
Creasey Funeral. Home by
Rev. Glenn A. Zlegler. Burial
will be in Bear Ridge Cemetery.

ington street, died in the DeGraff
Memorial, hospital Saturday night
from a heart attack with which he
was stricken in his home Saturday
afternoon.
Born at Morley. Mich., he had re-
sided in North Tonawanda the last
35 years. He was an employe of
Becker-Moore, operators of a wood
flour mill on Tonawanda Island. He
was a member and trustee of the
Free Methodist church.
Surviving are his wife. May; four
daughters, Mrs. Charles Fix, this
citv. Mrs. Benjamin Crandell. Battle
Creek. Mich.. Mrs. John Twichell,
Philadelphia, and Mrs. Russell Vanderhoof,
Wllmore, Ky.; his mother,
Mrs. Eva Ammerman, Greenville.
Mich., and four brothers, Cecil, Arthur.
Fred and Ezra Ammerman, all
of this city.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday
at 2 pm. from the Wattengel
funeral home. 307 Oliver street,
and at 2:30 o'clock at the Free
Methodist church. The Rev. E. J.
Cook will officiate and Interment
will be in Elmlawn cemetery.

John "Benny" Ammerman, age 88, of Pendleton, died Thursday, January 31, 2019 at his residence under Hospice care. Born December 8, 1930 in Pendleton, he was the son of the late Arthur and Alice (nee Iulg) Ammerman and had been a lifelong resident of Pendleton. John was employed at Spaulding Composites in Tonawanda until the plant closed in 1993. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman and was a devoted member of the Tonawanda Free Methodist Church on Grove Street. 
He was the father of John (Christine) Ammerman of North Tonawanda, and Duane (Delma) Ammerman of Kyle, Texas; grandfather of Sara, Cory, Alyssa, and Ella; and great-grandfather of Tyler. He was the brother of the late Allen Ammerman and Glenna Joerge. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. 
Friends may call from 2-4 PM on Sunday only at the HAMP FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 37 Adam Street at Seymour, Tonawanda, where funeral services will be held at 4 PM Sunday; the Rev. Zola enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family. She was the wife of the late Edward C. Krueger, Jr., who died in 2012; dear mother of Judith, Edward (Donna), Beverly, and the late Vereta. Eva Ruth "Ruthie" Barrand, of North Tonawanda, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2014, in Niagara Hospice House, Lockport, NY. She was born in Town of Pendleton, NY on November 18, 1924, a daughter of the late Fred and Alta (Seaton) Ammerman.
Mrs. Barrand graduated from North Tonawanda High School. She had lived in Pekin and later moving to Panama City, FL for many years, before returning to North Tonawanda in 2001. Mrs. Barrand enjoyed spending time and taking care of her family.
She was the wife of the late William G. Barrand, Jr., who died in November of 1986. Mrs. Barrand is survived by three sons, Duane (Velma) Barrand of Topton, NC, William (Cathy) Barrand of Erie, MI and Steven (Darlene) Barrand of Toledo, OH; two daughters, Donna (James) Forster of Niagara Falls, NY and Diane (Eugene) Osowski of Ransomville, NY; and a sister, Freda Skuce. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Louis and Edward Ammerman, Zola Krueger and Lois Bridge.
The family will be present on Saturday from 10-11 AM at the Community Bible Church, 4168 Church Road., Lockport, NY, where funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Todd was a Registered Nurse. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a fan of NASCAR.
He was the husband of Julie (nee Peperone) Scott; step-father of Adam (Lauren) Bobeck of Buffalo, Austin (Mabel Integro) Bobeck of Cheektowaga, and Cassidy (Eric Tomczak) Bobeck of Webster; and brother of Janice (Michael) Wagner of Pendleton, Kevin (Patricia) Scott of Pendleton, Tom (Shelley Miller) Scott of Lockport, and the late Roger (Heidi) Scott. Also survivng are his beloved dogs, Tate Scott and Miya Scott, and many nieces and nephews.
