71, of Saunders Settlement Rd.,
died Thursday (May 2, 1957) in
Ransomville General Hospital after
a two-week illness. He had farmed
for 28 years.
Born in Italy, Mr. Andalora was
a member of St. Teresa of the
Infant Jesus Church, Niagara Falls.
Surviving are his wife, Lucille
Farnella Andalora; four daughters,
Mrs. James McCabe. San Diego,
Calif., Mrs. Walter Barfinski. Niagara
Falls, Mrs. Terrence Comerford
and Mrs. Earl Wolcott. both
of Sanborn; two sons, Alfred and
Charles Andalora, both of Sanborn;
a brother, Joseph Andalora,
Rahway, N.J., and 21 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted
at 8 a.m. Saturday at the
Pike Funeral Home here, followed
by a Requiem Mass at 9 o'clock
at St. Teresa's Church. The Rosary
will be recited at 9 o'clock tonight
at the funeral home by the Rev.
Leo Glyn, pastor of St. Teresa's.
Burial will be in Gate of Heaven
Cemetery.

Winifred Wolcott
Sanborn minister taught ceramics at shop
SANBORN - Winifred Wolcott, 73, of Saunders Settlement Road, died Saturday (Feb. 25, 1995) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a lengthy illness. She was born on Jan. 17, 1922 in Buffalo, the daughter of Vincenzo "Jim" and Lucia "Lucy" (Farinella) Andalora. She resided most of her life in Sanborn. On July 6, 1940, she married Earl W. Wolcott Sr. In her early years, Mrs. Wolcott worked at the Bell Aircraft plant and later at Miller's Pickles in Lockport. Mrs. Wolcott taught ceramics for more than 20 years at a shop in her home. Mrs. Wolcott was ordained a minister in 1976, and served as the assistant pastor of the Universal Church of Spiritual Grace of Niagara Falls. She enjoyed bowling and appeared on television on the weekly bowling show where she was the winner. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Robert J. Wolcott, Earl William Wolcott Jr., and Grant L. Wolcott, all of Sanborn; two daughters, Sharon Godding of Niagara Falls and Dawn Wine of' Burnsville, W.Va.; two brothers, Alfred Andalora and Charles Andalora, both of Sanborn; four sisters, Rachel Parlinski and Dorothy Pharis, both of Niagara Falls, Mary McCabe and Florence "Fony" Wilson, both of Sanborn; 17 grandchildren; seven greatt grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Robert Andalora. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Rhoney Funeral.

Florence ''Fony''(Andalora) Wilson, 92, of Newfane, NY passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Niagara Hospice House. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on May 16, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Lucia (Farinella) Andalora.


She is survived by her children, Jim(Darlene)Wilson, Dottie(Denis) Drinkwalter, Tracy(Linda)Wilson, Willie(Lori) Wilson and Robyn(Tom) Dawe; twenty-two grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and brother Chuck (late Cathy) Andalora. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Erwin R. Wilson and six siblings.

Charles J. Andalora, of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018, at his home under the care of his family and Niagara Hospice.    He was born on the family homestead in Lewiston, NY, on June 26, 1936 the son of the late James and Lucille [Farinella] Andalora. 
Mr. Andalora was an iron worker with Labor Local # 9 in Niagara Falls for over 38 years before retiring in 1994.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, bowling, singing and playing his guitar and was an avid sportsman.
Mr. Andalora was the husband of the late Catherine Rose [Fleming] Andalora, who passed away on November 25, 2014. 
He is survived by two sons Charles J. (Catherine) Andalora and Vincent J. (Karen J) Andalora, two daughters, Susan Rose (Grant) Obee and Debra M. (Richard) Blech, seven grandchildren Cory Cruise, Jesse (Caroline) Obee, Richard (Ashley) Blech, Jr., Darryl (Nicole) Blech, Kristin Blech, Eric Johnston and Kelli Young, eleven great-grandchildren Collin,  Delaney, Keenan, Gabrielle, Allana, McKenzie, Cadence, Jayda, Christian, Lucia and Emma, also many nieces and nephews. 
He was the brother of late Alfred and Robert Andalora, Fony Wilson,  Mary McCabe, Rachel Parfinski, Dorothy Pharis and Winifred Wolcott.
His family will be present on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM  at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 1:00 PM, with the Rev. James Bastian officiating.

Alfred J. Andalora, of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2012, in Niagara Hospice House, Lockport, NY. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on May 9, 1928, the son of the late James and Lucille (Farnella) Andalora.
Mr. Andalora was an iron worker with Labor Local # 9, for over 30 years, before retiring in 1979. He was a member of the Niagara Falls Moose Lodge #838. Mr. Andalora enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking, gardening and was an avid bowler.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Grace I. (McCoy) Andalora; seven sons, Robert, John, Michael (Sue), Fritz (Michelle), James, Thomas and Patrick; six daughters, Leenie (Fred) Greene, Julie (Bruce) McMaster, Catherine (Sam) Williams, Lucy Garfalo, Terri (Dennis) Bauer and Grace Tubbie; a brother, Charles (Cathy) Andalora; a sister, Fony Wilson. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Robert D. FacebookTwitterredditIt is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Walter J. Parfinski, born July 6, 1936, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's. He was the son of late Walter and Rachel (Andalora) Parfinski.
John worked as an iron worker with Local #9 in Niagara Falls all of his life. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to tell stories about his days spearing sturgeon in the lower river. He was a member of the Active Hose Fire Company, a member of the Suburban Gun Club, and 3F Club. He served is the United States Army from 1959 until his honorable discharge in 1962.
He is survived by his wife, Linda, of 38 years; and is also survived by one son, Walter (Jody) Parfinski; step-children, Karen (late Robert) Rachlin and Robert (Linda) Monticup; four wonderful grandchildren, Sydney and Benjamin Rachlin and Paige and Lydia Parfinski. He is survived by his siblings, Patricia (late Gary) Quandt, Barbara Joyce Kalafat, Thelma McPherson, Gary Parfinski, Craig (Louise) Parfinski, and Gregory (Joni) Alan; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beautiful grand-doggy, Austin, that he loved tremendously.
He was predeceased by his parents; and one sister, Jeanne (John) McCoy.
He has donated his body to the University at Buffalo. Private services at the convenience of the family.

Sharon R. Bierley, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, in Kenmore Mercy Hospital. She was born in Lockport, NY on January 23, 1946, the daughter of the late Earl W. and Winifred (Andalora) Wolcott, Sr.
Mrs. Bierley graduated from Trott Vocational High School, with her hairdressing degree. She operated a hairdressing salon from her home for many years. Mrs. Bierley was a member of the First Congregational Church and volunteered at Heart and Soul. She enjoyed genealogy and bowling.
Mrs. Bierley was the wife of the late William L. Godding and the late Robert F. Bierley. She is survived by three sons, Brett L. Wolcott, Charles and Dan Godding; two brothers, Robert and Grant Wolcott; a sister, Dawn (Larry) Wine; seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bierley was the sister of the late Earl W. Wolcott, Jr. and the grandmother of one late grandson.
The family will be present on Friday from 7-9 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY. Beloved daughter of Grace and the late Alfred Andalora. Survived by two daughters, Ondrea and Megan and husband, Dave Tubbe. Also survived by five sisters, Leenie (Fred) Greene, Julie (Bruce) McMaster, Catherine (Sam) Williams, Lucille Garfalo, Terri (Dennis) Bauer; seven brothers, Robert Andalora, John Andalora, Michael (Sue) Andalora, Tom Andalora, Alfred Jr. (Michelle) Andalora, James Andalora, Patrick Andalora and several nieces and nephews.
