    LOCKPORT - A former sheriff
    deputy for 19 years, Robert
    E. Andrews, 43, of Beach Ridge
    Rd., died Saturday (July 26. 1938)
    at Lockport Memorial Hospital after
    a short illness.
    Born June 30, 1915 in the Town
    of Pendleton, Mr. Andrews was a
    Sgt. in the Sheriffs Department.
    He was a Republican committeeman
    In Pendleton for 12 years. A
    member of the Lockport Elks Club,
    Mr. Andrews was the son of Mrs.
    Beatrice A. Andrews, Beach Ridge
    Rd., and the late Elmer W. Andrews.
    In addition to his mother, he is
    survived by * brother, James G.
    Andrews, Town of Pendleton; two
    nieces and three nephews.
    Services will be conducted at
    3 p.m. Monday at the residence
    by the Rev. Stephen Palmer of
    First Presbyterian Church. Burial
    will be in Bear Ridge Cemetery.
