    William T. Andrews, 79 years
    old, one of the better known farmers
    in the Town of Pendleton
    residing on Beach Ridge road,
    Beach Ridge, dropped dead yes
    terday afternoon while delivering
    eggs to a customer on Schenck
    street.
    Mr. Andrews was a life-long
    resident of Pendleton and a charter
    member of Pendleton Grange,
    No. 1307. For many years he had
    made deliveries of eggs and other
    produce in the Tonawandas and
    was well known here.
    He leaves two sons, Elmer W.
    and Forest: a daughter, Mrs. William
    D. Miller, three grandchildren,
    two great-grandchildren, all of
    Pendleton, and four brothers, Bert
    and Joseph, Pendleton, John, Buffalo
    and Charles, Lockport
    Rites will be neld Monday afternoon
    at 2:30 o'clock, daylight
    saving time, from the residence.
    Burial will be in Bear Ridge cemetery.

    Surviving are a son, Chester
    E. Andrews. Lockport; a

    and Mechanics Savings Bank, Chester E. Andrews,
    63, of 668 East Ave., died in Lockport Memorial Hospital
    Tuesday (Dec. 20, 1966) after a long illness.
    He was born in Pendleton
    Feb. 20, 1903, the son of
    Charles and Anna Bergman
    Andrews, but had made his
    home here for many years.
    He was employed by .the
    bank shortly after graduating
    from Lockport Senior High
    School in 1920.
    He also attended the American
    Institute of Banking and
    later served on the board of
    directors of the Buffalo chapter
    of the AIB.
    Surviving are his widow,
    Mrs. Ethel Dixon Andrews;
    a daughter, Miss Joyce E.
    Andrews, at home, and a sister,
    Mrs. Walter Lederhouse,
    Gasport.

    William T. Andrews, 61, of
    842 Pierce Ave. died Sunday
    (March 12, 1972) at his home
    after suffering an apparent
    heart attack.
    He was born in the Town of
    Pendleton and lived here for
    the past 32 years. He was a
    former employe of the International
    Railway Corp. and
    later worked for the Titanium
    Alloy Manufacturing Division
    of the National Lead Co.,
    retiring in 1963.
    He is survived by his wife,
    Veronica; two daughters. Mrs. -
    William H. (Joan) Mallaney,
    this city and Mrs. Theodore L.
    (Shirley) Wirth, also of this
    city; three sons. Joseph
    Andrews, John Andrews, both
    of this city, and Sheriff's
    Deputy Sgt. Roger W. Andrews.
    of the Town of Wheatfield.
    Eleven grandchildren also
    survive.
    Other survivors include' two
    brothers Harry R. Andrews
    and Harold Andrews and four
    sisters, Edith Andrews, Mrs.
    Henry Seifert, Mrs. Charles
    Kramer, and Mrs. Harold
    Kagels, all of Lockport.
    Funeral services will be held
    at the Otto Hedanz Funeral
    Home Wednesday at 11 a.m.
    The Rev. Roger E.Purdy will.
    officiate. Burial will be
    private.
    Friends may call at the
    funeral home today from 7
    p.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday
    from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

    LOCKPORT-One of three bro-
    thers serving with the armed forces,
    Staff Sergeant Frank a. Andrews, 24,
    son of Mrs. Jennie Andrews, Pendle-
    ton, N.Y., has been missing in
    action over the European area since
    May 12, according to a telegram re-
    ceived by his mother from the War
    department.
    A native of Pendleton, Sergeant
    Andrews attended Lockport high
    schoool and was employed by the Air-
    plane Division of the Curtiss Wright
    corporation before he was inducted
    October 26, 1942. He was graduated
    from gunnery school at Fort Meyers,
    Fla., and went overseas last Janu-
    ary. He had since been stationed in
    England with the crew of a Flying
    Fortress.
    Brothers of Sergeant Andrews in
    the service are Captain Harry R.
    Andrews, North Africa, and Private
    Harold C. Andrews, Camp Davis,
    N.C. who is now spending a 14-day
    furlough at his home.

    LOCKPORT — Alma Geraldine Miller passed away Thursday, February 9, 2012. Born June 21, 1918, in North Tonawanda, NY, she was the daughter of the late William D. and Mildred E. Andrews Miller. Alma was a member of Niagara County 4-H, Niagara County Historical Society, Pendleton Historical Society, Pendleton Senior Citizens, Daughters of the American Revolution, Niagara Falls Chapter and the Colonial Dames. Alma loved her history and enjoyed cooking. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred Miller, who passed away October 1994.

    Alma is survived by her children, Susan J. (James) Wendler of Appleton, Thomas D. (Linda) Miller of Indian Lake Estates, FL, Timothy R. (Beth) Miller of Beloit, WI, and Terry James Miller of Lockport. Grandmother of Lauren (John) Matyjas, Kyle (Aaron) Nottis, Lindsey (David) Oddy, Benjamin (Ashley) Miller and Jill Miller; great- grandmother of Zachary, Kathryn, Meghan, Morgan, Jameson, Ella, Aaden and Emery. Alma is also survived by her sister-in-law, Irene Miller.

    Friends may call Tuesday 10-11 AM in Pendleton Center United Methodist Church, 6864 Campbell Boulevard, North Tonawanda, NY 14120, followed immediately by a funeral service at 11 AM. Interment will be in Bear Ridge Cemetery.     Joyce E. Andrews passed away on October 12, 2013. Born in Lockport on November 8, 1937, she was the daughter of Chester E. and Ethel (Dixon) Andrews.
    Joyce earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education & Ministry and worked for 27 years for the Niagara Wheatfield School District teaching at Eric Road Elementary, retiring in July 1st, 1993. She belonged to the Friends of the Library at the Lockport Public Library, NYSUT, Second Presbyterian Church in Lockport where she active with the church committee, the Crop Walk and the Wrights Corners Presbyterian Church. Joyce enjoyed knitting, reading, cooking, and loved camping in Maine.
    She is survived by her many cousins.
    Friends are invited to funeral services on Friday, October 18th at 11 AM in the Wrights Corners Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Crop Walk c/o Rev. Patricia Ludwig, 3895 Day Road, Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated.

    Notes:

    Roger W. Andrews, Sr., a longtime resident of the Town of Wheatfield, passed away peacefully at Niagara Hospice House. He was 83. He was born in North Tonawanda, NY, a son of William J. and Veronica (Young) Andrews. Roger was a graduate of the class of 1955, Niagara Falls High School. Following his education, he joined the US Navy. He served this country proudly and continued serving in our community with the Niagara County Sheriff's Department of which he started their Honor Guard.

    He worked as a criminal investigator with the Major Crime Task Force for the NCSD for 35 years, retiring on December 1, 1996. Roger remained active throughout his retirement helping his son with his business, Evans Ace Hardware, which has two locations in Medina and Derby.

    A Charter member of the Niagara County Central Rotary, a member of the Niagara County Ethics Committee; Chairman of the Roger W. Andrews, Sr., Senior Citizen's Breakfast held at Niagara Wheatfield; extremely active with Niagara Wheatfield School Athletics, building the Andrews Hanna building.

    He was a very kind and generous man, Roger volunteered and was active in many civic and community events. He loved working in his yard and was very proud of his son, daughter in law and granddaughters.

    He is survived by his son, Roger W. (Jennifer) Andrews, Jr. of Grand Island; two granddaughters, Madison Grace and Morgan Elizabeth Andrews; two sisters Joan Malaney (late William); Shirley Wirth (Theodore) and his sisters in law, Ann Andrews and Marylou Andrews. He was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Irene G. (Clark) Andrews in 2017 and brothers' Joseph and John Andrews.

    The family will be present on Monday from 12 noon until 4 PM and 6 PM until 9 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls (716) 283-9660, where prayers will be said Tuesday 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. John de La Salle R.C. Church with the Rev. Slawimor Siok, SAC officiating. The interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada with his wife, Irene.

    Karen is survived by her husband, Arthur Parmele; son, Andrew Drew Parmele; and also several couisns.
