Niagara, a retired Union Carbide
Corp, foreman, died Monday
(Dec. 13, 1965) at Memorial
Hospital after a year's illness.
He was born June 20, 1899
in Ford River, Mich., the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Roslund.
He had lived in Niagara
Falls for 55 years and retired
from the Union Carbide Corp.
in 1964 after 40 years service.
Mr. Roslund is survived by
his widow, Doris; two daughters,
Mrs. David K o b l e r,
Town of Niagara and Mrs.
^Joyce McMullen, Niagara
Falls; two brothers, Gust Rosland,
Tonawanda, and George
Roslund, Amherst; two sisters,
Mrs. Elsie Ankenbauer,

Services will be held at 11
a.m. Thursday at the Lane
Funeral Home, conducted by

Cemetery, Town of
Tonawanda.
The family said that contributions
to Roswell Park
Memorial Institute, Buffalo,
will be acceptable as tributes.

Gloria G. (Roslund) Kobler, of Niagara Falls, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 in Niagara Hospice House following a brief illness.  She was born at home in Buffalo, New York on March 15, 1928 the daughter of Harry and Mary Elizabeth (Zeller) Roslund.  She was a former resident of 70th Street for well over 50 years.
As a young woman, she worked for the former Hooker Chemical Company. 
She is survived by her children, Kathie (Richard) Nelson of Kingston, NY; Cynthia (William) Hutchinson and Keith A.  Kobler both of Niagara Falls; and Dale H. (Debra) Kobler of Lewiston; ten grandchildren, Colleen Charbonneau; Scott and Erin Robertson; Carissa Mina; Michael Munsell; Amanda Riu; David; Jarod and Rebecca Kobler; Zachary Valente; great grandchildren, Sophia and Marc Mina, Katie Farrell and Brandon Charbonneau; several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband David Kobler and her sister Joyce McMullin.
The family will be present Monday from 4PM – 7 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls.  Funeral services Tuesday 11 AM at the Funeral Home.  The interment will be private in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Shirley R. (Roslund) Petorak 84, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. Born in North Tonawanda on January 25, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Gustave and Elsa (Pohl) Roslund. Shirley worked for 18 years at Nabisco Shredded Wheat until her retirement in 1992.
She is survived by her son, Gabe Petorak of Niagara Falls, NY; sister Christine (late John) Kennedy and brother, Dennis (Sharon) Roslund. She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Gabriel Petorak and sister Janet Anderson.

Private funeral services and burial will take place at the convenience of the family.

Harold Dale Ankenbauer

ERIE, PA — Harold Dale Ankenbauer, son of Harold and Eileen (Tuttle) Ankenbauer, was born on June 15, 1940. He attended Red Brick School in Youngstown and Lewiston Porter. Harold worked on the Power Project and at Bell Aerospace before joining the Marines in 1962. He was one of the first waves of Marines that hit the beach in the Gulf of Tonkin, where he saved many of his crew when they hit a land mine. Harold was a highly decorated Marine. He also was an avid fisherman, golfer and hunter.

Harold was predeceased by his wife, Viola (Jean) Ankenbauer in 1995. He is survived by a daughter, Patti (William) Yoe of Madison, OH; a son, Dale (Corine) Ankenbauer of Erie, PA; two grandsons, Mario and Dominick; a brother, Richard J. (Bonnie) Ankenbauer of Erie, PA; a sister, Joanne (Paul) Hargrave of Lewiston, NY; his longtime companion, Shirly Ward of Erie, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

No prior visitation. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
