    was dead on arrival at the Ransomville
    General Hospital Friday
    (Jan. 8, 1971) after being
    stricken at home.
    Mr. Adams worked in the
    maintenance depart m e n t of
    Kimberly-Clark Corp., retiring
    five years ago. Born July 10,
    1897 in Climax, Pa., he had resided
    in this village for three
    years and in the Western New
    York area for 17 years.
    Surviving are his widow, Ida
    M. Buzzard Adams; three sons,
    Darl and Robert Adams, bolh
    of this village, and Paul Adams
    of Colonial Village; two daughters,
    Mrs. John (Helen) Baker
    of Rochester and Mrs. Harold
    (Lavada) Dawson of Lewiston;
    a brother, Phillip L. Adams of
    Climax, Pa.; a sister, Mrs.
    Blanche Anthony of New Bethlehem,
    Pa.; 17 grandchildren
    and 15 great grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held
    at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Lane
    Funeral Home here by Rev.
    Charles Stratton of the First
    United Methodist Church.
    Burial will be in Memorial
    Park Cemetery.
    Friends may call from 2 to
    5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday
    and Monday.

    Edward Duwayne Baker passed away after a lengthy illness on November 2nd 2020. He was a resident at the Newfane Rehabilitation & Nursing home in Newfane, N.Y. Ed was born on May 30th 1941 in Monarch, Pennsylvania to parents, Helen (Adams) and John Baker on May 30th 1941. After attending local schools, Ed enlisted and served in the U.S. Army for 2 years. Ed attended Niagara Falls High School and Trott in Niagara Falls, N.Y. Ed enjoyed golfing with his brothers, bowling with friends, riding his Gold Wing motorcycle and watching the Buffalo Bills. Over the years, Ed enjoyed organizing many golf & bowling leagues. Ed retired in 2001 from Harrison Radiator as a Millwright. After his retirement, Ed was employed at Ridge Road Express as a school bus driver.
    Ed was survived by his loving wife, Sharon Baker. He was also survived by his son, Shawn E. Baker (Amy), Howard B. Broussard (Hillie) and David K. Broussard and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ed was survived by brothers Ray, Keith, Bobby, and 1 sister, Kay. He was pre-deceased by a brother Jack and grandson, David. Ed decided many years ago to donate his body to the UB School of Medicine.

    LEWISTON — Paul L. Dawson, of the Town of Niagara, died on Saturday, January 19, 2013 in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, following a brief illness.

    Born in Niagara Falls, NY on July 5, 1963, he was the son of the late Harold and Lavada (Adams) Dawson. He attended local schools. Paul was employed by North American Hoganas, working as a team leader.

    A devoted and loving husband and father, Paul cherished family time. He was an avid football and Buffalo Bills fan, enjoyed bowling with the Strasburg League at the former Beverly Lanes, and the occasional trips to OTB.

    Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Tina M. (Harbeson) Dawson; three children, Lacie, Paul and Kyle Dawson; a sister, Beverly Dawson of Rochester; three nephews and four nieces.

    Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4, 7-9 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 AM. The interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston. Memorials, if desired, may be made in Paul's memory to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 631, Buffalo, NY 14240.
