    David Auther, 83, of' 1027
    96th. St., died today (June 3,
    1971) in Memorial Medical
    Center. A native of Fayette
    City, Pa.; Mr. Auther lived in
    Niagara Falls since 1912.
    A member of the" Riverside
    Presbyterian Church, he retired
    from Union Carbide in
    1953 and was a charter member
    of the Retired Men's Club.
    Survivors i n c l u d e his
    widow,. Merriarn; two daughters,
    Mrs. Jack (Betty) Mc-
    Spadden and Mrs. Joseph
    (Adelyn) Thompson; a sister,
    Mrs. James Therkield, of
    Pittsburgh, Pa.; four grandchildren
    and five great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held
    Saturday at 1 p.m. at t he
    Lane Funeral Home with the
    Rev. Hans Klee officating.
    Burial will be at the Riverdale
    Cemetery. Friends may
    call tonight from 7 to 9 p.m.
    and from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to
    9 p.m. Friday.
