North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 3/20/1944

Raymond G. Bernhardt 47, of
287 Schenck street, died suddenly
yesterday afternoon at the home
of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Ella
Johnson, 173 Vandervoort street.
He was a life-long resident and
a member of the Friedens church.
He leaves his wife, Lydia; a
daughter, Mrs. Herbert C. Berndt
of North Tonawanda; a grandchild
and a sister, Mrs. Earl Owen of
Dunkirk. Rites will be held Thursday
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from
the residence. The Rev. Theodore
Mayer will officiate and
burial will be in Elmlawn
