TONAWANDA. Jan. 24-Stricken
with paralysis Thursday, Morton W.
Bacon, 66, died today a,t his home,
332 Broad street. A life long.resident,
Mr. Bacon was employed for
many years as a pilot by the Great
Lakes Steamship company, retiring
in 1942. He was a member-of Tonawanda
Aerie 1411. FOE. He Is survived
by a brother, Benjamin, of
Buffalo, and a sister, Eva Bacon,
this city. Last rites will be held
Thursday at 2 p. m. at the home.
The Interment will be in Elmlawn
cemetery.
