She bequeathed her interest
in the Hartland farm in Creek road.
Hartland. to her brother. Howard
M. Baer. Middleport. Her chinaware
and linens, which came to
her through the Baer and Brown
families, she bequeathed to her
sisters. Marian Phillips. Mildred
Hasting. Mt. Lebanon. Pa„ and
Edith Karn. Los Angeles. The balance

Obituary of Dorothy Daskavitz
Dorothy Daskavitz passed away Thursday May 14, 2020 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. Born in Hartland, New York on October 12, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Mabel Dempsey Baer. Dorothy loved to spend time with her family, especially her five grandsons who were the lights of her life. Gardening, country music, love of animals, ball games and time with her husband filled her days but she always made time for others. Her smile, voice, laughter, personality but most of all her presence will be missed by everyone. Missed but never forgotten.She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Michael Daskavitz; mother of Jon (Lynn) Daskavitz, Marc Daskavitz and Donna (Michael) Maggio; grandmother of Michael, Steven, Kevin, Matthew and Nathan. Dorothy is also survived by her sisters, Audrey Murdoch and Bonnie (John) Halpin and several nieces and nephews.There will be no prior visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. Memorial Donations to Catholic Charities, 741 Delaware Ave., Buffalo, NY 14209 or to March of Dimes, 435 Lawrence Bell Dr., #9, Buffalo, NY 14221 would be appreciated.
