LOCKPORT-Guy W. Baldwin,
89, of 578 Walnut St., died
today after a two-month illness.
He was born Sept. 20. 1878.
in Lacqui Tarle. Minn., the son
of Edwin and Emma Ferguson
Baldwin. He lived in Lockport
for more than half a century
and was graduated from Lockport
High School. He-also attended
business college before
he became associated with the
Stewart Construction Co. and
while employed by them, he
served in France attached with
the U.S. Army. Upon his return
in 1920 he became a self-em-
ployed carpenter, retiring 20
years ago.
Mr. Baldwin was a member
of Lockport Lodge 73 F & AM,
was a former trustee and former
deacon of the Plymouth
United Church of Christ.
He is survived by his -wife,,
Dorothy E. Harrington Bald-
win; a son, Edwin B. Baldwin
of Lockport; a nephew and several
nieces.
Friends may call from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Kennedy
Funeral Home, where services
will t)o held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
The Rev. Russell Shaffer
will officiate.
Burial will be in Wright's
