    LOCKPORT. June 25-A certificate
    of death from natural causes
    was tssued today by Dr. Lyman H
    Wheeler, health officer. In the case
    of Mrs. Grace S. Barber, widow of
    Almon J. Barber, who was found
    dead late yesterday In her room at
    21 Allen street. She had been dead
    36 hours when found. Dr. Wheeler
    said. Mrs. Barber was a, native of
    Erie. Pa., and had lived here for
    many years.
    Her husband was killed when
    struck by-an automobile in June of
    1936 at Wright's Corners. Three
    sons and six daughters survive. Services
    will be held Friday at 2 p.m.
    at the Kennedy funeral home. 122

    Katie M. Stevens of Lockport, NY wife of the late Frederick M. Stevens entered into rest Thursday, January 18, 2018 in Briody's Health Facility. She was born in Elba, NY February 11, 1923, the daughter of the late Almon and Grace Stalter Barber. Katie worked for Fisher Price in Medina, NY retiring in 1979. She volunteered for Senior Companion. Mother of Katherine J. Proefrock of Lockport, David C. Stevens of Lockport, Jerry L. (Becky) Stevens of Wilson, NY, Keith E. Stevens of Lockport, Sharon L. Stevens of Lockport and the late Kenneth Stevens. Mother in law of the late Jim Proefrock. Sister of the late twin sister Katherine Udell, Almon Barber and Jessie Sanmarco. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. No prior visitation.     David C. Stevens, born February 11, 1944, passed away on August 19, 2019 surrounded by his family. David was the son of the late Frederick and Katie (Barber) Stevens.
    He leaves behind his sons, Brian (Jennifer) Stevens, Mark Stevens, and Jonathan (Lisa) Stevens. Grandfather of Joshua, Jacob, Zachary, Marissa and Caleb. Also survived by his sisters, Katherine and Sharon; and brothers, Jerry and Keith.
    A private memorial service will be held at the discretion of the family.
    The family has honored David's wish by donating his body for medical research.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Anatomical Gift Program at the University of Buffalo would be appreciated by the family.
