BATT - Ida J. Batt, 88, of 43
Elmwood Park South, Tonawanda,
died Saturday (Jan. 13, 1962)
at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after
a brief illness. Born in Tonawanda,
Mrs. Batt was a lifelong
resident of the city and was a
member of St. Francis of Assisi
Church and the Altar Society of
the church. Her husband, William
B. Batt, died in June, 1934. Surviving
are a daughter, Mrs. Zita
Lewis of Tonawanda, with whom
she resided; a son, Edwin Batt of
Niagara Falls, N.Y.; four grand-
children; 12 great-grandchildren,
and two sisters, Mrs. Frances
Farrell of Tonawanda and Mrs.
Allan Bayne of Niagara Falls,
N.Y. Friends may call at the

prayers will be said at 9 a.m.
Monday followed by a Requiem
High Mass in St. Francis of
Assisi Church at 9:30 a.m. The
Rev. Wilbur Yaeger will officiate.

44, of 458 Morgan street, died last
night at the Buffalo General hos-
pital. She was a lifelong resident
of this city and a member of St.
Francis church and the Rosary so-
ciety.
Surviving are her mother. Mrs.
Ida J. Batt; three sisters. Mrs. Burt
Lewis, of this city, Anna M. Batt
and Mrs. William Barnum, of Niagara
Falls and one brother, Edwin,
of this city.
The funeral will be held Monday
at 8:30 a. m. from the Hamp funeral
home and at 9 o'clock at St. Francis
church. The Rev. J. A. Wismantel
will officiate. Interment will be in
