    CLAYTON - The funeral
    for J. George Bazinet, 59, of
    622 Union St.. who died Friday
    noon at the C-Way Tourinn
    Motel and Golf Club after
    playing golf, will be Monday
    at 8:30 a.m., at the Cummings
    Funeral Home, Clayton, and
    at 9 a.m. at St. M a r y 's
    Chuich, Msgr. Dennis Lynch,
    pastor, officiating. Burial is
    in St. Mary's Church Cemetery.
    Calling hours are Saturday
    and Sunday, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9
    p.m., at the funeral home.
    He is survived by his widow,
    Mrs. Mary Cantwell Bazinet;
    two sons, Peter John and
    Patrick Joseph, both of Clayton;
    three daughters, Mrs.
    W i l l i a m (Mary Helen) La-
    Lond, Clayton, Miss Virginia
    Elaine Bazinet and Miss Jean
    Elizabeth Bazinet, Clayton;
    four b r o t h e r s , Amos and
    Noel, Clayton, Lawrence, Nia-
    gara Falls, and Leonard, Tona-
    wanda; and two sisters, Mrs.
    Doris Wade, Chicago and
    Mrs. Otis (Rosemary) Radley,
    Cape Vincent, and five grandchildren.
    Born in Clayton Aug. 28,
    1911, a son of Joseph and He
    len Brabaant Bazinet, he at-
    tended local schools and was
    graduated from St. Mary's
    School.
    He worked at the Clayton
    A&P for years and two years
    after his marriage to Mary
    Cantwell on Sept. 3, 1934, at
    St. Mary's Church, moved to
    Adams, where he was assistant
    manager at the A&P. He
    returned to Clayton in 1943
    and went to work for Frink
    S n o -P1 o w. He had worked
    there until ill health forced
    him to retire in 1957.
    In 1959, he became manager
    of Aubrey's Thousand Island
    Bowling Center, Clayton.
    He worked there until his
    death.
    Mr. Bazinet was a veteran
    of World War II. past commander
    of the Colon-Couch
    Post 821, American Legion,
    past grand knight of the Clayton
    K. of C. and a member of
    the Clayton Volunteer Fire
    Department, and Frink Club.
