    den death in Buffalo of Frederick
    Buhs, age 34. brother of Mrs. Walter
    K. Beccue of Carlton Place. Buhs'
    died last night at 6:30 o'clock from a
    hemorrhage, due to a tall while run-
    ning to catch a trolley car on Ms way
    home from the Pierce Arrow Motor
    Company's plant, where he was em-
    ployed. He lived less than an hour
    following the fall. Surviving, besides
    his wife and mother, are two children,
    three brothers and four sisters

    visiting at the home of her son,
    Mrs. Amelia Beccue, 67, was pro-
    nounced dead upon arrival at
    Lockport City Hospital.

    Sergt. Walter K. Beccue. who
    served on the Lockport Police
    Force for 23 years, had been making
    her home with her daughter,
    Mrs. Floyd Beyer, in Wilson for
    tour years. She was spending a
    few days with her youngest son,
    Donald Beccue, 1S1 Lock St.. when
    she became ill.
    Born In Buffalo. July J. I8®
    the daughter of John and Elisabeth
    Saltzman Buhs, Mrs. Beccue
    lived In Lockport approximately
    38 years. She was a member of
    the Auxiliary to United Spanish
    War Veterans.
    Besides her daughter and son

    Donald, she Is survived by two
    other sons, Karl W and William
    A., both of Lockport, ten grandhildren,
    two sisters and two
    brothers, Mrs. Louis Panten, Mrs.

    Clarence Dietsel and John Buhs,
    all of Buffalo, aad William Buhs
    of Chicago.
    Services will be held Friday at
    2 o'clock at Gaul Funeral Home,
    253 East Ave., the Rev. Walter
    L. Kingsley, pastor of Wilson
    Methodist Church, officiating.
    Burial will be in St. Peter's Lu-
    theran Cemetery.

    Mrs. Panten. who died Tuesday at
    her home after a year's illness, was
    a member of Eintracht Rebekah

    and Missionary Societies of Zoar
    Evangelical and Reformed Church.
    A native of Buffalo, she was mar-
    ried to Lewis M. Panten in 1909. Also
    surviving are two daughters, Mrs.
    Frederic W. Kranz and Mrs. Ray-
    mond P Mohan; two sons, Clarence
    J. and Ellsworth L Panten; a sister,
    Mrs. Clarence Dietzel. and two broth-
    ers. William Buhs of Chicago and'
    John Buhs of Derby.

    the young man. Edward H. Buhs of No.
    940 Northampton street whose body was
    discovered at the bottom of the Central
    Y. M. C. A. pool Thursday night, found
    death due to accidental drowning. It was
    stated in this connection that the body
    had evidently been in the water te or
    fifteen minutes before disovery. Buhs,
    it was stated, had been learning to swim

    Obituary of Floyd A. Beyer

    Middleport: Floyd A. Beyer, age 79, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on June 27, 2021. He was born September 26, 1941 in Lockport to the late Floyd and Thelma (Buccue) Beyer.
    Floyd worked as an Electrician for 37 ½ years for the NYS Thruway Authority and was a Junior member of the Wilson Conservation Club for over 50 years. Floyd enjoyed collecting toy tractors and going to toy shows and farm shows. He was an avid hunter as well.
    In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Bev (late Dick), Cornelius, Don, and Sharon Williams.
    Floyd is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Helen, children, Doug (Tania), Deb (Rob), Duane (Erin), 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Barbara Beyer, brother-in-law, Richard Williams, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
    The family will receive friends at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home 38 State St. Middleport, NY 14105 on Thursday, July 1st from 3:00-7:00pm where his funeral service will be held Friday at 10:00am. Private interment will be held in North Ridge Cemetery in Cambria.
    Memorial contributions in Floyd’s name may be made to Niagara Hospice 4675 Sunset Dr. Lockport, NY 14094 or the Royalton United Methodist Church 5309 Royalton Center Rd. Middleport, NY 14105.

    NEWFANE - Sharon Ann (Beyer) Williams, a lifelong resident of Niagara County, was called to her heavenly home to be with our living Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, October 29, 2010 in Newfane Health Facility, after a lifelong battle with diabetes. Born on October 18, 1947 in Lockport, she was the daughter of James Floyd and Thelma F. Beccue Beyer. Sharon graduated from Wilson High School in 1966 and married her husband, Richard G. Williams on February 25, 1967. Sharon enjoyed playing the accordion, spending time with her favorite cousin, Darlene, horseback riding and delivering her Avon on horseback, doing leather work, reading, ceramics and spending time with her family. Sharon is survived by her husband, Richard G. Williams; her son, Michael J. Williams; two grandsons, Matthew J. Williams and Andrew J. Williams; one sister, Beverly J. (late Richard) Cornelius and one brother, Floyd A. (Helen) Beyer. She was predeceased by her brother, Donald (Barbara) Beyer. Friends may call on Monday and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Lange Funeral Home, Inc., 186 East Ave., Lockport, NY. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM from Trinity Lutheran Church, 67 Saxton St., Lockport, NY. Burial will follow in North Ridge Cemetery.     Karl was a proud Marine who served in Vietnam, and a national member of the DAV. In 1999 he retired from GM as an inspector and committeeman. He volunteered for many youth organizations. Karl was active in the Republican Party. He and his wife owned Forget-Me-Not Antiques in Lockport and Menagerie Antiques in SC.
    Karl is survived by his loving wife, Connie James Beccue; sister, Patricia Robertson; sister-in-law, Patricia Stolzenberg; and nieces, nephews and cousins. Art Ackerman and family were lifetime friends but loved like family.
    Memorials may be made to Marine Corp Toys for Tots or Food For The Soul in Camden, SC.
