NEWFANE - Graveside services
for William H. Beers, 85,
of Southern Pines, N.C., formerly
of Newfane and Rochester,
will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at
Wrights Corners Cemetery.
Mr. Beers, husband of the
former May Corwtn of Newfane,
died March 2, at Southern
Pines.
He was the son of William
and Edna Mason Beers and had
lived here during his youth.
Mr. Beers was employed by
Mutual Benefit Insurance Co.
from die age of 24 until his retirement
several years ago. He
lived most of that time in Rochester.
Besides his widow, he is survived
by four sons, John M.
Beers of De Moines, Iowa, Williams
W. Beers of Simsbury,
Conn., Leighton A. Beers of At-
lanta, Ga., Howard C. Beers
of Pensacola, Fla.; one brother,
Royce L. Beers of Sarasota,
Fla.; also 14 grandchildren and
23 great-grandchildren.

William married CORWIN, May Amanda on 10 Mar 1903 in Town of Newfane, Niagara County, NY. May (daughter of CORWIN, Phinias) was born about 1883 in New York; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
