Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth
Secord Behm, wife of August
Behm, who died Tuesday, will be
held at 2 p. m. tomorrow at the
home of her son, Albert Behm,-1918
Tenth street, with the Rev. G. H.
Mlchelson officiating. Burial will
be in Elmlawn cemetery, North
Tonawanda.
Mm. Behm. who was 69 years old
and had resided in this country for
52 years, was a native of St. Da-
vids, Ont. She was a descendant of
Laura Secord, famous Canadian
heroine of the War of 1812, and
her family was one of the most
widely known in the Niagara pen-
insula.
Besides ber husband, she is survived
by five sons, Albert, of this
city; John and George, of North
Tonawanda. and Fred and Wilbur,
of Tonawanda; one daughter, Mrs.
C. S. Urlin, of Hamilton, Ont.;
her mother, Mrs. Sarah Secord, of
Stamford, Ont.; three brothers,
William Secord. of Thorold, Ont.;
Philip Secord, of Niagara Falls, Ont.,
and James Secord. of Stamford,
Ont. and a sister, Mrs. Marion
Miles, of Stamford. Ten grandchildren
and three great-grandchildren
also survive.

Elisabeth married BEHM, August on 3 Feb 1885 in Bergholtz, Town of Wheatfield, Niagara County, NY. August was born on 18 Jul 1862 in Germany; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

LeRoy Behm, 25 years old, died
early this morning at his home, corner
of Pine and East Thompson streets,
after a lingering illness. He is sur-
vived by a wife, his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. August Behm; five brothers, Al-
bert, John Fred, Wilbur and George
Behm, all of the Tonawandas, and a
sister, Mrs. Stanlley Urlin of Hamilton,
Ont. The funeral will be held Thurs-
day afternoon at 2 o'clock from the
late residence, Rev. Willis P. Hume
of the Third Presbyterian church of-
ficiating. Burial will be at Elmlawn.
Behm was a member of the local
branch of the Orioles.

He then married Aleda Galley in 1969
He retired from Niagara Mohawk after
many years in 1974
Mr. Behm was a member of Our Saviour
Lutheran Church, Liberty Lodge
959, F&AM, past president of the Town
of Schuyler Republican Club, a member
of the Utica Auxiliary, and an instructor
for the American Red Cross.
Besides his wife, he leaves his
mother, Mrs Edith Behm of Niagara

(Paula) Izzo. of Syracuse. and

He is survived by his wife, Francis L. (nee Baudendistal) Behm; one son, Paul of North Tonawanda; his step-father, William Quinlan of North Tonawanda; one sister, Mrs. Gerhardt (Gertrude) Krehan and one brother, John E. (Shirley) Behm, both of North Tonawanda; five step-children and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday at the Gaul Funeral Home, Inc., 263 East Ave., Lockport and from St. John the Baptist Church. Interment in Cold Spring Cemetery.
