Charles Behrens died at his
No. 383 N. Transit Street. Thursday
afternoon, April 26. 1923. He is sur
vlved by his wife, three daughters
and four sons, Sophia. Mrs. John L.
Ball. Herman, Albert. Mrs. Fred B,
Holts, Carl and William, all of this
city also seven grand children, one
brother, Fred Reggentln of this
city, two sisters, Mrs. Theodore
Gottschalk and Mrs. Christian
Sprung.
Funeral services will be held from
the home Sunday afternoon, April
29th at 2:30 o'clock, and three o'clock
from Trinity Evangelical Lutheran
Church on Saxton street. Interment
in Trinity Lutheran Cold Springs
cemetery.

H. Ball, 54. wife of John L. Ball who
died Tuesday night at the Lockport
City hospital, will be held at 2:30
Friday at the home, 352 North
Transit street, and at 3 o'clock at
Trinity Lutheran church. Saxton
Street, the Rev. Herman Meier of-
ficiating. Burial will be in Wright's
Corners cemetery,
Born in Germany. Mrs Ball came
to the United States, when she was
a child and has since made her
home in Lockport.
Survivors besides her husband
include two sons, John J. Ball and
Robert A. Ball; four brothers, Her-
man, Albert, Carl and William
Behrens and two sisters, Mrs. Fred
Holtz and Miss Sophia Behrens,
of Lockport.

BEHRENS, Herman L., died suddenly at his home, 47 Lewis St., Lockport, N.
Y., Wednesday evening, April 2, 1952. He is survived by his wife, Ida C.,
nee Stolzenberg, one daughter and one son, A. Elizabeth and Paul J.; two
sisters and three brothers, Miss Sophia Behrens, Mrs. Fred Holtz, Albert E.
and William Behrens, all of Lockport and Carl of Olcott, N. Y.; also two

OLCOTT.N.Y. (UPI)An 83 year-
old man died early today
when a fire raced through his
Niagara County home.
Sheriff's deputies said the
body of Carl Behrens, who lived
alone, was found in his Collard
Avenue residence.
The cause of the fire, which
started about 1 a.m.. was not
immediately known, but
deputies believed it began in the
living room.
An autopsy was ordered,
though officials said Behrens
appeared to have died of a heart
attack.

William E. Behrens, 69, of 389
North Transit St., Lockport, a
retired streets department employe,
died this morning (Jan
20, 1967) at Briody Nursing
Home after a long illness.
Born in Lockport on Sept. 3,
1897, he was the son of Charles
and Johanna Linderman Behrens.
Mr. Behrens worked for many
years for the Lockport C i ty
Street Department until ill
health forced his retirement
more than two years ago.
Surviving are two sisters,
Miss Sophia Behrens of Newfane,
Mrs. Emma Holtz of
Lockport; one brother, Carl
Behrens of Olcott and several
nieces and nephews.
Beginning tomorrow, friends
may call at the Prudden A
Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee
St., where funeral services
will be conducted at 1:30
p.m. Monday by the Rev. Victor
Mesenbring, pastor of
Mount Olive Lutheran Church.
